Telescoping Fiberglass Boat Docking Pole — Extendable Boat Hook (Yellow)
Product description
This extendable docking pole is supplied as a multi-section fiberglass shaft with an integrated flexible loop head and a rubberized push-away stub to prevent damage to hulls and docks. Models vary by collapsed and extended lengths so you can pick the reach you need: a compact short model for tight storage and near-shore mooring, and a medium model for more general-purpose docking. The lightweight short option weighs roughly 22 ounces for easy handling.
The loop assembly comes in Standard and XL sizes capable of securing common dock cleats, pilings and lines; the loop design also permits retrieval of items dropped overboard. You can buy a Loop Pack that includes both loop sizes so you’re prepared for different dock configurations. A quick-lock collar along the shaft lets you set and lock the length quickly, while an ergonomic grip improves control when making precise grabs.
Constructed from marine-grade fiberglass and finished with a rubberized tip, the pole is built to resist moisture and abrasion found in salt or fresh water use. It’s made in Kentucky and intended for everyday boater tasks: docking in wind or current, pushing off, line handling and solo operation. The pole slides down for compact storage on board when not in use.

A marriage saver — buy two!
Great product. Stops the arguing and frustration at docking time. We bought one for each boat and couldn’t be happier.

A smart buy as you gain experience
If you boat solo sometimes, this is a sensible investment. It’s a well-made, dependable tool that makes docking safer and easier. We managed without it for a while, but wouldn’t be without it now — if it disappeared I’d replace it right away.

Crucial during wind-driven approaches
The quick-lock will sometimes give under heavy load, but this pole has kept us off the rocks more than once in bad weather. Indispensable in a squall.

Well-built and long enough for most situations
Five stars for overall build and the different loop options. The push-off feature and sturdy pole make this a standout compared with other hooks I tried. I spent extra for this unit and have been very pleased — it’s long and strong enough to reach where I need it. On our 24-foot boat it worked brilliantly even when the dock lacked a mid cleat, preventing risky jumps onto the dock.

Sturdy and convenient for larger boats
Stronger than I expected and perfect for helping dock our 31-ft Rinker. Good heft, a comfortable grip, and it collapses for storage. Very happy with the durability and size.

Docking made painless — highly effective
This pole changed how I dock my boat. Before, every docking was a headache with shouting and missteps; now I can grab cleats and lines smoothly without jumping off. The construction feels solid and durable. Whether your vessel is big or small, this tool really improves the process. Strong recommendation — it’s worth getting one and saving yourself the stress.

Safe solo docking made simple
I run my 23-ft deckboat by myself frequently. This pole makes catching cleats and pulling in against wind straightforward — I used full extension to pull in during a strong gust and it worked easily. The rubberized loop and rod seem durable after a season of use. Solid five stars.
