Insulated Personal Tea Maker — Borosilicate Glass Infusion Mug (8 oz)
Product description
This set contains a double-walled borosilicate glass cup, a removable stainless steel loose-leaf infuser basket, and a multifunctional lid that doubles as a holder/coaster for the strainer. The mug is sized for a single serving and holds 8 oz (240 ml), ideal for individual brewing.
The infuser is made from high-grade 304 (18/8) stainless steel with laser-cut holes for fine filtration. The basket is generously sized so tea leaves can expand and steep fully, and once steeping is done the strainer can be rested on the lid to catch drips and keep surfaces clean.
The double-wall design provides insulation to keep beverages warmer longer while the outer glass stays comfortable to hold. An air-pressure relief hole is built into the base so the cup is safe for both dishwasher and microwave use.
Borosilicate glass delivers a neutral surface so flavors remain pure and glass clarity makes it easy to watch the infusion. The double-wall base is designed to be gentle on furniture and surfaces.
Use it by adding loose tea to the basket, pouring in hot water, covering with the lid to retain heat while steeping, then lifting the infuser and placing it on the lid to avoid drips. The combination of thoughtful materials and simple function makes for a clean, elegant brewing experience.
Pros
- Keeps tea hot with insulated double-wall glass
- Roomy, fine-mesh 304 stainless steel infuser
- Pure taste and clear view from borosilicate glass
Cons
- Appears fragile due to thin glass
- Single-serving capacity may be small for some
- Very fine powders can sometimes pass the mesh
VerdictA thoughtful single-cup brewer that keeps tea hotter longer while letting leaves unfurl in a roomy stainless steel basket. Durable-feeling despite a delicate look, it delivers clear taste from borosilicate glass and a neat, spill-free steeping routine.

Looks delicate but holds up
It feels fragile but I’ve had no problems so far — even dropped the lid and it was fine. So pleased I ordered a second for my wife. Great for hibiscus infusions.

Ideal evening tea brewer
Exactly what I wanted for bedtime tea. The infuser keeps herbs contained with no stray bits and the double-wall cup keeps the brew hot while staying only slightly warm outside, so it’s comfortable to hold.

My go-to tea cup now
I prefer the metal infuser here to glass ones I’ve owned — no bits floating in my tea. The mug strikes a nice balance between insulation and comfortable handling without being bulky.

Outstanding brew and heat retention
Lightweight and very effective. I was unsure at first but after brewing Guayusa I was sold — the basket strains cleanly and leaves plenty of room for the tea to unfurl. It outperforms a press for many blends and holds heat well even outdoors when covered with the lid. Highly recommend getting a spare.

An excellent choice
Very good quality. The brewing process is tidy and simple, and it makes a delicious cup. I like keeping the cover on while it steeps to maintain temperature.

Attractive, practical design
I knew this product and finally found it — very handy for a single serving of tea or tisane with a filter. The transparent look suits my style and the mug is very practical.

Top-quality cup and filter
Beautiful, high-quality mug. The filter’s micro holes stop leaves from passing into the infusion and the double wall keeps heat in while the exterior stays only lukewarm. It looks fragile but seems sturdier than it appears.

Perfect gift — very pleased
I gave this to my father and he loves it. He says it heats up quickly and the filter is the best he owns. He’s delighted with the present.

Really keeps drinks hot
This mug is a lovely discovery. The glass feels surprisingly solid despite its delicate look. The infuser is effective though very powdery fruit teas can let a few tiny bits through; overall it brews perfectly every time. Tip: avoid rubbing inside the mesh — there are small sharp edges from the fine holes.

Cute and simple to use
Lovely little mug — it encouraged me to start steeping my own tea. I grated ginger into the infuser, let it steep, and minutes later enjoyed fresh homemade ginger tea.
