Ceramic Matcha Kit — 7-Piece Chawan Set with Tools
Product description
Design inspiration: The set draws on the delicate look of spring cherry blossoms. Petal-like accents and a gently undulating rim give the chawan a sculptural, organic feel, making the kit both a functional tea tool and a decorative tabletop piece.
What’s included: One bamboo matcha whisk (chasen); one bamboo scoop (chashaku); one scoop rest; one stainless steel fine sifter; one 530 ml / 18 oz ceramic matcha bowl (chawan); one whisk holder; one cherry-blossom patterned tea towel; and a small handbook with basic instructions. Each element is intended to give you everything required to prepare traditional matcha without buying extras.
Materials and finish: The bowl is ceramic with a smooth, non-toxic, lead-free glaze on the interior to resist staining and simplify cleaning. The whisk and scoop are natural bamboo, shaped for proper handling and performance. The sifter is stainless steel to avoid rust and to reliably break up clumps of powder.
Whisk craftsmanship and use: The chasen is handmade with roughly one hundred narrow tines, tuned to produce a fine, airy froth when briskly whisked. Use the sifter first to remove lumps, add measured scoops of matcha, pour in a small amount of hot water and whisk in a fast, zigzag motion until smooth and frothy. Rest the whisk on the holder after rinsing to help it dry evenly.
Care notes: The glazed interior eases cleanup—wipe or rinse after use to prevent residue build-up. Bamboo pieces should not be soaked long-term; dry them upright or on their rest to preserve shape and longevity. The included handbook covers basic preparation and maintenance tips to keep the kit in good condition.

Complete set, decent quality
Nice package overall. My whisk started to split sooner than I expected, likely because I was too forceful. Still, the set has everything needed and the packaging is charming—ideal paired with matcha as an inexpensive gift.

Perfect birthday surprise
Soft green tone, sturdy but lightweight feel. Includes everything except the tea itself. The bowl serves about 2–4 and the glazed ceramic cleans up easily. Great value.

Get the whole kit
As a newcomer to matcha I use this daily since buying it. It has the essentials and the bowl’s pink shade is adorable. Note: don’t leave the small bamboo scoop soaking—mine lost its curve after sitting in the sink.
