   Makes great coffee

   Produces very good cups every time.

   Stopped working after two years

   After about two years of light use it stopped brewing. Support spent time troubleshooting via video and found the spinner was faulty; repair quoted at $65 and they offered a discount on a replacement. Service was patient and helpful, but I’m disappointed a relatively new machine failed.

   Really fun and convenient

   I love how quickly it brews and how it drops used capsules into the bin. Trying the dozen included capsules helped me figure out favorites.

   There’s a learning curve

   Brews excellent coffee with Vertuo capsules, but there’s a bit of a learning curve not covered in the quick guide. I recommend watching online tutorials for full instructions.

   Coupon didn’t work

   I couldn’t redeem the promotional voucher — it was expired — and the capsules included were past their best-by date.

   Too low for tall mugs

   Nice little brewer and very low profile, but tall travel mugs won’t fit under the spout.

   Just buy one — compact and speedy

   I picked the all-matte-black model and it looks sleek on my counter. I still love my full-pot brewer for batches, but this little machine earned a permanent spot beside it. It’s very compact, fast (my cup is ready in about 30–60 seconds depending on size), and the finish is like a satin black — really attractive. Perfect for when you don’t want a cluttered coffee area.

   Good performance if maintained

   Used occasionally for a few months and it worked well. It did quit after a couple months once, but customer service helped me troubleshoot and get it running. Needs regular maintenance like flushing hot water and cleaning parts. Overall satisfied.

   Pods are pricey but the taste is worth it

   Household coffee snobs approve — this replaced our old machine for everyday use. First unit had a pump issue, replaced one worked immediately. The frother on my unit never functioned and support couldn’t help, but the coffee itself is flavorful with a lovely foam. Pods are expensive, but the quality shows.

    Excellent flavor, simple interface

    Received a sample kit with several flavored capsules and the machine makes noticeably better coffee than K-cup machines I’ve used. I bought an inexpensive electric frother to pair with it and the crema is impressive. It reads pod barcodes for one-touch brewing. Only downside is capsule cost and the proprietary format.
