Gorilla Mini Dual-Temp Hot Glue Gun — Compact Craft & Repair Tool
Product description
Dual temperature control: Select low temperature for delicate materials like floral foam, fabric, ribbon and jewelry, or switch to high temperature when bonding wood, hard plastics, metal, or glass for a stronger hold.
Ergonomic design and precise application: The mini glue gun is lightweight and features a comfort grip, broad base with an integrated stand, and an easy-squeeze trigger. A long, insulated precision nozzle gives better access to tight areas and accurate placement of adhesive.
Built-in safety elements: The unit includes an internal safety fuse that will cut power if an electrical short occurs. Side fins allow the tool to rest on its side without clogging the nozzle, and the insulated tip helps reduce accidental contact burns.
Intended adhesive: Designed for use with 0.27" diameter mini glue sticks. For best results use the manufacturer’s weather-resistant mini sticks that offer an extended working time and strong seals suitable for indoor and outdoor projects.
Directions for use:
1. Plug into a 120V outlet.
2. Insert a 0.27" mini glue stick through the feeder tube at the rear.
3. Allow the gun to warm up for about 5 minutes.
4. Squeeze the trigger to dispense glue; repeat squeezes dispense more. The initial startup may require roughly two sticks to prime the mechanism.
5. Press bonded surfaces together immediately after applying adhesive.
6. Do not pull glue sticks backward from the gun. To switch sticks, push the remaining portion through the feeder.
7. Unplug when finished and allow the tool to cool fully before storing.
Troubleshooting tips:
- If the gun does not heat, confirm it is connected to a 120V outlet. If it still fails, the internal fuse may have blown and the unit is not repairable—stop use.
- If glue backs up at the inlet, ensure you are using 0.27" mini sticks only. Avoid elevating the front of the gun; always rest it on its side or the attached stand to prevent backflow.
Pros
- Switchable low/high heat for delicate or strong bonds
- Comfort grip, precision nozzle and easy-squeeze trigger
- Safety fuse, side rests and insulated tip reduce hazards
Cons
- Some users report continuous dripping during use
- Mini form factor can be awkward for large hands or broad surfaces
- 110V plug may require an adapter in non‑US regions
VerdictThis small dual-temp glue gun is an excellent pick for hobbyists and quick fixes. It delivers controlled glue flow via a narrow tip, offers both low and high heat for a wide range of materials, and includes safety-focused touches such as an internal fuse, side rests, and an insulated nozzle. Best paired with the recommended 0.27" mini glue sticks for reliable, weather-resistant bonds. Note the com

Durable little workhorse
Very tough — I’ve used mine a lot and it’s still going strong. Better quality than other mini guns I’ve tried.

Reliable right away
Used it the first day I got it — heats quickly, comfortable in the hand, and worked exactly as expected. Would recommend for hobby projects.

Good performance, watch hand size
Bought several as a starter set for my grown kids. Works well but is quite small, which may be awkward for people with larger hands.

No European adapter included
No plug or adapter for European outlets — a shame to sell it without compatibility information for international buyers.

Small but powerful and precise
Love this dual-temp mini. Quick heat-up, smooth controlled flow, and the precision tip reaches tight spots for rhinestones and miniatures. Pairs well with the mini glue sticks.

Too small for large areas
Works well for details, but covering big surfaces is slow and the glue starts to harden before you finish a large area.

Not compatible with EU voltage
Listed on a European site but supplied with a 110V power cord, so it won’t work without an adapter or converter.

Wrong plug for my country
The listing didn’t mention the U.S. plug. I can’t use it here in the Netherlands and couldn’t return it after opening the package. Very disappointing.

Great features but it drips
Nice feel, fast heat, and a must-have precision tip, but mine drips continually when set down, wasting a lot of small glue sticks. If it stopped dripping it’d be perfect.

Fine tip and sturdy stand — recommended
The finer nozzle makes a big difference. Heats faster than my older guns and the stand actually works. Highly recommend.

Perfect for detailed craftwork — no oozing
This solved my issue with larger guns and too-small ones that didn't heat enough. The fine nozzle and dual temps are ideal, but the best part is it won’t ooze glue while I fuss with pieces. I can even lay it on its side without drips and place tiny amounts exactly where I want them.

Surprisingly strong, but handle with care
After trying many guns over the years this one stands out. Extremely hot and effective, though I’ve burned myself learning to be cautious. Left it plugged in overnight once and performance dropped afterward.
