11x14 Canvas Panels — 12-Pack Primed Cotton Painting Boards
Product description
What’s included: Twelve 11 x 14 inch canvas panels delivered as a value set for artists, classrooms and craft projects. Each board is intended to give you plenty of blank surfaces so you won’t run short during lessons, workshops or multi-piece projects.
Materials and construction: The painting surface is made from 100% cotton canvas that has been hand-stretched and adhered to a heavy, acid-free MDF backing. The board construction provides high tensile strength and resists shrinking, bending or curling even after repeated applications of paint and mixed media.
Priming and readiness: Panels arrive pre-primed with a multi-coat, acid-free acrylic primer so you can start painting immediately—no gessoing required. The factory coating offers good tooth for paint adhesion and a bright white ground to make color values pop.
How it performs: The surface texture holds paint without soaking it away, helping maintain tones and gloss. These panels accept a wide range of media, including acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastels, tempera and gouache, and are suitable for tabletop easels, clip displays, shelving or framing.
Uses and occasions: Great for art classes, kids’ activities, studio practice, DIY décor or gifting. The pack format suits instructors, group classes and anyone who wants an economical supply of ready-to-use painting boards.
Pros
- Comes pre-primed—ready to paint out of the box
- Sturdy MDF backing resists warping
- Accepts many media: acrylic, oil, watercolor, gouache
Cons
- Pronounced texture may not suit detail work
- Not the same feel as stretched canvas
- Basic panels—not archival stretched canvases
VerdictA budget-friendly bulk pack of sturdy 11x14 canvas panels that arrive ready to paint. The cotton surface holds pigment and sheen well while the thick MDF backing resists warping, making these a practical choice for students, hobbyists and classroom use. Surface texture is noticeable—great for expressive work but less ideal for ultra-fine detail.
