Dogwood Calming Stick Chew Toy — 2-Pack 8" Chews for Dogs
Product description
This two-pack contains two Large chews, each measuring roughly 8" x 1.5" x 1.5", offered in two flavor variations — natural Wood and calming Hemp. The sticks are manufactured from a proprietary real-wood blend that provides the bite and texture dogs seek without the splinter hazards of raw branches.
The design omits nylon and avoids lead and phthalates, making the chews easier on teeth and gums while still durable for regular use. They’re intended for daily enrichment, redirecting dogs from destructive chewing and helping support oral activity. For care, the items are top-rack dishwasher-safe for quick cleaning between uses.
These chews are aimed at adult, moderate chewers in the large-weight category (approximately 36–50+ lb). They’re not recommended for young puppies or older, fragile dogs. Produced in the United States from USA-sourced materials, they combine familiar stick-like appeal with safer, longer-lasting construction.

Puppy-approved chew time
No obvious calming effect, but my puppy really enjoys gnawing on these. They keep him occupied for stretches at a time.

Both dogs give it the paw of approval
My dogs are huge fans — they chew like they would a stick but without the mess. These have held up well even with two pups sharing them.

Huge help for stick chewers
These solved our problem with yard sticks. Our puppy prefers these instead and they work great.

Buying a replacement already
On my second pack — my 80 lb pit-lab mix carries and chews them when bored. The large size fits her well and I appreciate the wood-based material over mostly plastic toys.

Excellent for teething pups
Useful for redirecting chewing away from furniture. I trusted them enough to leave my pup chewing while I handled quick chores — both textures offer good options.

Works but produces tiny fragments
My dogs love them, however small pieces end up on the floor and sometimes get stuck in their mouths. I’m switching to fully natural options.

Stands up to strong chewing
Durable for an aggressive chewer — my dog has had them for months and hasn’t eaten through them. Great for kennel time and easy to clean. Good substitute for real sticks.

Not engaging for my pup
Quality seems fine but my 12-week lab simply isn’t interested. Very hard material and hasn’t captured his attention; maybe he’ll like them later.

Long lasting and seemingly safe
Both dogs enjoy these and they have lasted months. We prefer the non-mint flavors, but all varieties keep our pups entertained without obvious harmful chemicals.

Staple chew for my dog
Constantly reordered — my dog can’t take large chunks off and his gums stay fine. Highly recommended alongside other chews to manage chewing habits.

Puppy favorite so far
My young pup is obsessed and they’ve lasted about six weeks so far. Durable enough for sharp puppy teeth and the sizing has been right for a three-month-old.

Loved at first, later concerns — update inside
I originally bought several because my two dogs were obsessed and they replaced unsafe sticks and furniture chewing. They soften as chewed and lasted daily use for a while. UPDATE: My youngest, a very heavy chewer, began passing small bits in his stool. After inspection I discovered the chews contain non-natural material that was being expelled. I no longer feel comfortable using them for that dog.

Broke apart too fast for safety
Both pieces started shedding bits within minutes. That made me uneasy, so I tossed them and went back to other options.
