Product description

Venus unites classic moka pot brewing with contemporary features and finishes. Its polished 18/10 stainless-steel construction is intended to resist corrosion and provide a refined look that lasts. The set comprises the lower water chamber, the coffee basket, the upper collection chamber with an integrated spout and a contoured, heat-resistant handle.

The Venus uses a triple-chamber moka design to push boiling water through ground coffee and collect concentrated espresso-style coffee in the top chamber. The 6-cup model yields up to six two-ounce espresso servings (about 7.9 oz total) in under five minutes on most stovetops. It is engineered for use on gas, electric, ceramic and induction burners.

For operation: fill the lower boiler with water to the safety-valve level, insert the filter funnel and add ground coffee without tamping, screw the top on securely, place the pot on the heat source and watch for the characteristic gurgle — once the flow slows, remove from the heat and serve. The pot includes a pressure-relief safety valve and a flip-top lid that makes pouring straightforward.

Care instructions: rinse all parts with warm water after each use and dry completely. Avoid detergents and do not put the unit in the dishwasher, as soap and aggressive cleaning can affect flavor and finish. Regularly inspect the gasket and filter plate and replace them as needed to maintain a safe, even extraction.

    Use caution on induction

    Claimed induction compatibility, but centering the pot on the zone was tricky and the base ran very hot. I’d watch mats and placement closely when using on induction cooktops.
