8-Pack Shower Curtain Weights (4 Pairs) — Silicone-Wrapped Magnetic Clips
Product description
Silicone fully wrapped: Each magnetic weight is encased in premium silicone with a full 360° wrap. That seal helps prevent rust and staining while also dampening noise when the weights move or touch surfaces.
Magnetic force & weight: Individual units weigh 1.75 oz; a matched pair equals 3.5 oz. The magnets provide a moderate holding force — heavier than many basic weights but not overly strong — designed to hold a shower liner against the tub edge and reduce inward billowing and water escape.
Easy to use: No installation or tools are needed. Simply place a weight at the bottom edge of the liner and let the magnets attract through the fabric. The exterior is non-magnetic where it contacts the curtain to avoid tangling, so they’re easy to adjust or remove whenever needed.
Wide application: These weighted magnets work indoors and out. Use them on shower curtains, tablecloths, flags, drapery, or as magnetic clips on whiteboards and refrigerators. They’re suitable for outdoor curtains and temporary fastening tasks where a removable anchor is helpful.
Note: Magnetic behavior depends on pole orientation: opposite poles attract while like poles repel. Identical poles will push away from each other, so align pairs correctly when fastening.
Pros
- Fully sealed silicone resists rust and cuts noise
- Solid, balanced magnetism holds liners in place
- Tool-free, reusable and easy to reposition
Cons
- Identical poles will repel if aligned wrong
- May struggle in very strong winds outdoors
- Not a permanent fastener — can shift on slick surfaces
VerdictThese silicone-wrapped magnetic weights are a practical, low-effort fix for curtains that billow or let water escape. At 1.75 oz apiece (3.5 oz per pair) the magnets offer a moderate, dependable pull without being excessively strong. The full silicone enclosure helps avoid rust, cuts down on rattling and keeps the units easy to clean. Simple to apply and reposition, they work for a range of uses f

Five stars — they work
These really keep the curtain hanging straight and away from your skin while showering. Very effective.

Sturdy and well sealed
They’re strong enough to hold the curtain but not so strong you can’t move it. The outer shell is solid and fully sealed, which should prevent rust over time.

Perfect for walk-ins
Our walk-in shower liner used to billow. Six weights across the hem held it down completely. Very glad I bought them.

Solved billowing on a curved rod
Our curved rod made the liner push out; adding five of these weights stopped it. Strong magnets and good build — I’ll also try them on outdoor curtains.

Great for walk-in shower setups
These keep the curtain anchored when warm shower air wants to pull it inward. Heavy duty vinyl feel and they hold the hem to the floor well.

Simple fix, works perfectly
I replaced sliding doors with a curtain and the liner kept blowing inward. These little pairs solved it completely. I used the full pack spaced along the hem and no more billowing. They’re fully enclosed so I’m hopeful about corrosion, and installation was just placing them where needed.

Good value for outdoor use
They do the job for our outdoor shower. Easy to attach and the magnets hold well. In very gusty conditions they may not be enough, but overall a good, inexpensive solution.

Keeps liner from spilling out
New walk-in shower left the liner drifting out over the lip and puddling the floor. Four pairs anchored it nicely — no more dripping. Heavy, silicone-encased magnets that connect cleanly at the hem.

Strong, waterproof and affordable
I had water leaking under a standing shower and these held the liner tight. They feel solid, waterproof, and easy to clean. Much less expensive than similar options I’d seen, yet still high quality.

A surprisingly great find
These finally stopped my curtain from flying up. I use inexpensive liners and the little factory-installed weights weren’t helping, but these magnetic clips do the trick and I’ll buy them again when needed.

No exposed metal — no rust stains
These weights worked fine for my curtain; the metal is enclosed so there’s nothing to leave rust marks.

Relieves the clingy liner problem
They do a great job preventing the liner from sticking to your leg or blowing inward. Good weight and build quality.

Better than cheaper sets I had
Earlier weights I bought rusted quickly. These are heavier and fully enclosed, so they haven’t corroded. Worth the upgrade.
