Lunarm Linen Twist Upholstery Pins — 12 Fabric-Covered Buttons
Product description
One box contains 12 linen-style, fabric-wrapped button-top pins in a neutral grey tone. Each pin combines a soft, cloth-covered top for an unobtrusive finish with a spiraled shank designed to twist into layers of fabric and hold securely.
The twist-lock concept is intended to prevent the pins from popping out the way straight pins can — you press the spiral tip through the cover and give it a short twist until the button sits flat against the fabric. Installation takes seconds and requires no tools; the button cap gives a comfortable place to hold while you turn.
Because the tops are cloth-covered and color-matched, they blend into most upholstery and slipcovers to avoid visible metal clips or exposed hardware. They’re useful across the home: sofa and armrest covers, bedskirts, chair backs, tablecloths and car seat covers — anywhere you need fabric held in place without damaging cloth or leaving obvious fasteners.
Pros
- Secure spiral shank resists popping out
- Fabric-covered tops blend into upholstery
- Quick, tool-free installation
Cons
- May not hold on moving or mechanical sections
- Limited to fabric surfaces, not hard materials
- Neutral grey may not match every color
VerdictThese twist-in upholstery buttons come in a dozen per box and use a spiral-shank design to bite into fabric more reliably than straight pins. The fabric-wrapped caps provide a comfortable grip for quick, tool-free installation and sit discreetly on furniture. They work very well for static covers and throws, though pins on mechanically moving sections (like some recliner parts) may loosen over tim

Perfect for holding towels over cat-scratched spots. The reusable box is handy and the mixed colors gave options.

Not ideal for moving parts
They work well on static areas, but on reclining parts they tend to come loose.

No hold for me
Difficult to install and a few snapped while I tried. I don’t think they’ll stay put.

Old-fashioned reliability
Just enough buttons to keep my towel arm covers in place. Easy to grip and twist; some need straightening after unpacking.
