Flat Shielded Cat8 Ethernet Cable — 15 ft High-Speed LAN Lead
Product description
WHAT YOU GET: One 15-foot Cat8 flat Ethernet cable with gold-plated RJ45 plugs and molded strain relief.
COMPATIBILITY: Backward compatible with Cat7, Cat6a, Cat6 and Cat5 equipment. Works with standard RJ45 ports on routers, modems, switches, gaming PCs, consoles like the PS5, smart TVs and networked IP devices.
CONSTRUCTION & MATERIALS: Built from four solid copper pairs with foil and braid shielding around each pair (S/FTP) plus an overall braided jacket. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts improve mating reliability.
PERFORMANCE: Lab-tested up to 40Gbps transmission and rated for frequencies to 2000MHz. Supports Gigabit, 2.5G, 10G, 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T links depending on your network gear.
POE CAPABLE: Can carry Power over Ethernet along with data on runs up to 10 meters (32.8 ft), suitable for many PoE cameras and access points without a separate power lead.
FORM FACTOR: Slim, flat braided jacket designed to run under carpets, along baseboards, through door gaps and around tight corners. Lays flat to reduce kinks and tripping risks compared with round cable.
DURABILITY: Double-layer braided outer jacket with molded strain relief; the cable has passed extensive bending tests (15,000+ cycles) for long-term use. Covered by 24 months of support for manufacturing defects.
Pros
- High-frequency S/FTP shielding reduces interference
- Flat braided design tucks under carpets and doors
- Solid copper supports multi-gig and 40G lab-rated speeds
Cons
- RJ45 plug width can be bulky on closely spaced ports
- Shielding makes the cable a bit stiff for tight bends
- 40Gbps requires compatible network hardware to achieve
VerdictThis 15 ft flat Cat8 patch cord is aimed at users who need a robust, low-latency wired link that tucks away easily. Its solid copper 4-pair construction with individual pair shielding (S/FTP) and braided outer jacket helps minimize EMI and crosstalk while supporting multi-gig and 40GBASE-T applications in lab conditions. The slim profile is ideal for running beneath flooring or along door threshol

Braided Jacket Keeps My Cats Away
Very happy with this cable. The braided sheath seems tougher than rubber cables, and my cats haven’t chewed it yet. The 3m length suits my setup and the finish looks premium.

Legit Cat8 — No Tangling
One of the best flat Cat8 cables I've tried. They don't knot up like most flat leads, and the specs appear accurate. Solid 9/10 from me.

Perfect for Running Under Doors
Needed a longer run to a printer at work. This flat cable fit under the door easily, is long enough, and the outer braid stands up to some wear when pulled through the gap.

Better Than My Last Cable
This one outlasted my previous cable. It handles heat near my PC without degrading, which mattered after the last one failed.

Runs Invisibly Under the Carpet — No Lag in Golf Sim
I needed a tidy way to link my Uneekor Eye Mini to my PC without a tripping hazard. The flat design slid right beneath the carpet in my simulator room and is virtually invisible. Shot data shows instantly on the screen with no lag, and the braided jacket feels sturdy enough to survive being stepped on or tucked under flooring.

Wide Plug Warning, But Excellent Performance
Update: The RJ45 terminations are wider than some plugs, so they don't fit side-by-side on tight-spaced ports; I had to leave alternate ports empty or use slimmer cables. Original: Rewired my network with several lengths and the 10Gbps links reach full speed. Shielding reduced packet loss and allowed runs next to power cabling without noticeable interference. They are a bit stiff from the shielding but very reliable overall.
