Hestan Tri‑Ply Stainless Half Sheet Pan — 18 x 13-Inch Cooking Surface
Product description
CHECK SIZE BEFORE ORDERING: This is a full‑size half sheet with an 18 x 13‑inch usable baking surface. Overall footprint including the wide handles measures roughly 21 x 13.75 x 1.1 inches. The pan weighs about 3.6 lb and is intended to fit standard 30‑inch ovens—verify your oven’s interior dimensions before purchase.
TRI‑PLY CLAD CONSTRUCTION: The pan is made from three bonded layers: stainless steel exterior and interior skins encapsulating a conductive aluminum core. That aluminum center promotes fast, even heat transfer across the baking plane for reliable browning and uniform roasting results.
HEAVY‑DUTY STAINLESS STEEL: Robust tri‑ply fabrication gives this sheet pan a more substantial weight and greater rigidity than thin aluminum options. The interior has a brushed stainless finish while the exterior is polished for a professional look and long life.
WARP‑RESISTANT DESIGN: The bonded construction is thermally stable to reduce warping during high‑temperature baking and repeated oven use. The pan is rated for oven use up to 600°F and is broiler safe.
EASY‑TO‑GRIP HANDLES: Wide, curved stainless steel handles provide secure gripping space when moving the pan in and out of the oven—even with mitts. Because of the handles, the overall width is larger than many other half sheets; check clearances for racks, ovens, and dishwashers.
WHAT’S INCLUDED & CARE: The package includes the sheet pan (and in many configurations a low‑profile rack). The stainless surfaces are durable and built for everyday roasting and baking; cosmetic marks or surface scratches can appear with normal use but won’t affect cooking. Treat it like other stainless cookware and it will remain serviceable for years.
Pros
- Excellent, even heat thanks to aluminum core
- Sturdy, warp‑resistant tri‑ply construction
- Wide handles for a secure grip when hot
Cons
- Heavier than thin aluminum pans
- Handles increase overall width—may not fit every oven or dishwasher
- Stainless finish can show cosmetic scratches over time
VerdictBuilt to perform in a busy kitchen, this tri‑ply half sheet delivers consistent heat, strong handles and a substantial feel that resists warping. It’s heavier and larger than standard aluminum pans, so measure your oven and expect to use two hands, but for regular home cooks who value durability and even browning it’s an excellent long‑term choice.

Seriously well made
Very heavy, extremely solid construction. Heat spreads evenly and the build quality suggests these will be passed down. Highly recommend.

Top-tier craftsmanship
Hestan delivers premium construction and I appreciate the included rack. It’s an investment, but one that should last a lifetime.

Sturdy, thick, and easy to clean
Nice, substantial sheet that’s easy to maintain. Heat distribution is impressive, which improves baking and roasting. My daughter bakes a lot and loves the flexibility.

Stunning quality — just measure first
This quarter‑sheet looks and feels beautiful and performs like a pro tool. I bought it for my toaster oven, but be careful: the interior is about 9 x 12 inches, yet the handles add roughly 3.5 inches, making the total width about 15.5 inches, which kept it from fitting in my particular model.

Built to last — worth the long game
I’ve learned the hard way that cheaper pans don’t hold up. This tri‑ply sheet feels solid and has stayed true after years of use. Other stainless sets I owned got difficult to clean and some warped even at moderate temperatures. For me, the investment in a heavier, better‑made pan has been justified over time.

Performance and durability combine
Stainless exterior with an aluminum core is a great combo — durable and tolerant of scrubbing, with the even heating of aluminum. The included rack is handy. I use it for roasts and vegetables and it’s roomy enough for family dinners. Feels premium but performs well.

No regrets after upgrading
We replaced several older trays with these and haven’t looked back. Thick, stable, no warping, and the stainless finish feels luxurious. Couldn’t be happier.

Expensive, but built for life
With attentive care this pan is an enduring purchase. The quality and durability make the cost worthwhile for long‑term use.

Five stars with a frank caveat
If budget is tight, there are cheaper pans that’ll do the job. But for someone who cooks every day, this pan is a joy to use — great for small ovens and toaster ovens too. I use it for sides like zucchini fries and can mostly set and forget. You can cook on a cheaper sheet, but this one elevates the experience.

Replacing old aluminum pans for good
These have replaced several heavy aluminum jelly roll pans in my kitchen. The stainless finish won’t develop the same pitted corrosion I fought on old aluminum pans. They’re solid, look great, and should last a very long time.

An outstanding roasting and baking pan
This is the best sheet pan I’ve owned. It resists warping and won’t rust. Plenty of surface to spread vegetables and it browns beautifully. The shallow lip prevents drips, and it’s great for cookies too. Note: it’s heavier than a basic half sheet, so use both hands when removing hot food, and the handles can make it awkward in some dishwashers.

A baker’s reliable workhorse
I never quite get it back to the showroom look, but it wasn’t meant to be decorative. Extremely versatile and better to own than to need. If it were made closer to home I’d pay even more without hesitation.
