12V Automatic Marine Bilge Pump Kit — 1100 GPH Submersible Unit
Product description
Designed for 1100 GPH bilge systems, this kit is built around a submersible DC pump that moves up to 1100 gallons per hour. It is intended for boats with a 1-1/8" discharge hose — it is not compatible with 3/4" setups and is not a direct substitute for 750 GPH units.
The package includes a 6 ft length of marine-grade thick-wall PVC hose that resists kinking and is formulated to tolerate saltwater exposure. Also supplied are a durable thru-hull fitting and hose clamps so you have the primary plumbing components needed for installation.
A factory-installed float switch automatically turns the pump on and off based on bilge water level, eliminating the need for a separate sensor or float assembly. A manual override allows you to run the pump continuously when desired.
The pump’s housing is fully sealed and designed to be submersible, offering corrosion resistance for both freshwater and saltwater environments. Its compact footprint helps it fit into tight bilge compartments while delivering strong flow.
Built to the 12V marine standard, this unit is a good match for bass boats, runabouts, cruisers and other small-to-medium craft that require an 1100 GPH bilge solution. Installation consists of mounting the pump, connecting to a 12V DC source, routing the 1-1/8" hose through the thru-hull fitting, and securing with the supplied clamps.
Pros
- High 1100 GPH pumping performance
- Built-in float switch for automatic operation
- Includes marine-grade hose and thru-hull fitting
Cons
- Requires 1-1/8" discharge; not for 3/4" systems
- Not a direct swap for 750 GPH pumps
- May be larger than needed for very small boats
VerdictA robust 12V bilge pump kit that delivers strong water removal at 1100 gallons per hour. The integrated float switch offers automatic operation without extra wiring, while the sealed submersible housing and marine-grade hose stand up to harsh conditions. Best suited for boats already set up for a 1-1/8" outlet — it won’t swap directly into 3/4" systems or replace a 750 GPH model. Overall, a compac

Powerful for backups
Really strong pump — overkill for our 14' jon boat, but good to have stowed as a backup. Great value for the capacity.

Doing the job well
A few months in and it’s performed reliably. I wired it to a switch that lets me choose auto or manual; leaving it on auto keeps the bilge dry. So far it’s been trouble-free and a good value even if it only lasts a couple of seasons.

Bigger than expected
Larger than my old pump. Tested on battery and it worked fine; just need to find time to finish installation.

Switched from pricier units
After several expensive pumps failed, I chose this float model at about half the cost and it works well. The remaining puddle can be cleared in manual mode.

Fast and dependable
Bought this for my 28' fishing boat to handle water in the bow. Tested it in a pool of melting snow and it cleared water quickly. The snap-on strainer trapped debris and was easy to clean. Manual mode works too. Kit comes with thru-hull, hose and clamps — a practical addition for extra bilge coverage.
