Sigma Technology Group Named One of Sweden’s Best Managed Companies 2026 by Deloitte and Swedbank

Sigma Technology Group has once again been named one of Sweden’s Best Managed Companies by Deloitte and Swedbank and has been awarded Platinum status for the eighth consecutive year in the Sweden’s Best Managed Companies 2026 program.

For Sigma Technology, this recognition reflects a long-term commitment to combining entrepreneurial drive with the governance and stability required in increasingly complex markets.

Carl Vikingsson, CEO and Group President of Sigma Technology Group, describes the award as confirmation of the company’s working methods and organizational model.

“We are very proud of the award, but what matters most is why we continue to receive it. Even as a large organization, we consciously work to preserve our entrepreneurial approach. We have built a structure where the people closest to the customer also have the mandate to act. Decisions that can take months in other organizations should be possible to make within weeks here, because we trust our teams to take responsibility for both problems and solutions. If we lose that ability, we risk losing our relevance,” says Carl Vikingsson.

Sigma Technology’s operating model, “Local Drive, Global Strength,” is based on a combination of specialized and decentralized units supported by a larger international consulting group. The model is designed to enable close customer collaboration, fast decision-making, and deep specialist expertise, while also offering the scale and stability that larger clients and complex delivery environments require.

Although the business is decentralized, governance, quality assurance, and delivery commitments are coordinated at group level when customer needs and project complexity demand it.

This model has grown increasingly important as companies and public organizations undertake large transformation initiatives in areas such as cloud services, artificial intelligence, electrification, and regulatory digitalization.

Carl Vikingsson emphasizes that today’s market demands both flexibility and long-term reliability.

“Customers today expect both agility and stability. They want partners who can adapt quickly without compromising long-term expertise and accountability. That balance is becoming ever more important,” he says.

Lina Thörn, partner at Deloitte and head of Best Managed Companies in Sweden, comments on this year’s honorees.

“We are proud to recognize these 16 companies, all of which demonstrate strong leadership, a clear strategic agenda, and well-functioning processes. Privately held, unlisted companies represent a significant share of employment, revenue, and innovation in the Swedish economy and are therefore an important part of the national business landscape.”
