ServiceNow today unveils Autonomous Workforce, a new generation of AI specialists designed to think, make decisions and perform work autonomously within enterprise environments. At the same time, Moveworks is fully integrated into the ServiceNow AI Platform with the launch of ServiceNow EmployeeWorks.
With Autonomous Workforce, ServiceNow advances enterprise AI beyond suggestion and assistance toward AI that can execute complete workflows end to end while enforcing governance, transparency and compliance. The technology is built to work alongside humans, freeing employees to focus on higher-value, strategic tasks.
Autonomous Workforce is composed of role-based AI specialists trained for specific business domains such as IT support, HR, customer service and security operations. These AI specialists can manage tickets, coordinate actions across multiple systems and operate continuously with full traceability.
Two months after completing its acquisition of Moveworks, ServiceNow introduces EmployeeWorks. The solution combines Moveworks’ conversational AI and enterprise search with ServiceNow’s unified portal and autonomous workflows. The result is a natural language interface that allows employees to ask questions and start tasks directly through channels like Microsoft Teams, Slack or a web browser.

EmployeeWorks translates user requests into complete executions spanning multiple systems. The AI detects intent, triggers appropriate processes, manages approvals and completes tasks with built-in controls and governance. The platform is architected to support up to 200 million users globally.
ServiceNow says this launch represents a shift from add-on point AI features for standalone SaaS applications to a unified platform that actually performs work through integrated workflows. By bringing data, processes and AI together on one platform, organizations benefit from a more cohesive and scalable model for digital transformation.

EmployeeWorks is available to customers starting today. The first Autonomous Workforce AI specialist, focused on Level 1 IT support, is entering controlled rollout now with broader availability planned for the second quarter of 2026. Moveworks will also continue to be offered as a standalone solution within the ServiceNow AI Platform.
