Pax8, the leading cloud commerce marketplace, has announced the appointment of Kathryn Almendarez Marsman as Senior Vice President of Global Vendor Alliances. In this role, Marsman will be responsible for developing and owning Pax8’s global vendor alliances, building long-term relationships, and driving new global go-to-market strategies (GTM). She will report directly to Oguo Atuanya, Corporate Vice President for Vendor Experience at Pax8.
A seasoned leader in global partnerships

Marsman brings more than 25 years of experience in global partner strategy, business transformation, and market development. Most recently she served at Microsoft leading Scale Solution Partners within the global partner solutions organization, Worldwide. In that role she managed some of Microsoft’s largest strategic partners and led initiatives that delivered substantial revenue, particularly across Azure and Microsoft’s expanding AI efforts.
Background at Microsoft and global leadership
During her long tenure at Microsoft, Kathryn held multiple leadership positions across the Global Partner organization and sales. She built high-performing teams, established strategic partnerships, and delivered strong growth results. Notably, her work focused on innovation in AI, security, and Copilot, where she helped Microsoft partners transform their businesses at global scale.
In addition to her accomplishments at Microsoft, Kathryn Almendarez Marsman holds an MBA in management from the University of Dallas and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Texas at El Paso. She has served as an advisor to the University of Texas Business Advisory Council and has received multiple industry honors, including recognition among CRN Women of the Channel and Microsoft’s Circle of Excellence awards.
