Fredrik von Sydow has been appointed as the new CFO of Opima. Bringing extensive expertise in finance and accounting from several senior roles—most recently as CFO at Marenor—Fredrik steps into the Opima leadership team to support the company’s strategic and financial development.
“I am grateful for the trust placed in me and look forward to collaborating with the companies within Opima to contribute to their continued growth and to the progress of the group as a whole,” says Fredrik von Sydow.
Fredrik brings more than 20 years of professional experience in finance and financial management, including the last four years serving as CFO in manufacturing and production-focused businesses. With strong skills in financial planning and analysis and hands-on experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), he will be a valuable addition to Opima. He will assume the position of CFO during the first half of 2025.
“Fredrik’s strong drive and business-focused approach will be an important asset for Opima. I look forward to working with him,” says Johan Karlsson, incoming CEO of Opima.
