Iver Group (“Iver”) appoints Pär Fors as its new CEO to accelerate growth and strengthen its position as a leading Nordic provider of next-generation cloud and infrastructure services. He joins Iver at a pivotal moment in the company’s development, as demand for secure, resilient and sovereign digital infrastructure is rising rapidly.
Iver delivers business-critical IT infrastructure services across the Nordics. With offerings in cloud services, cybersecurity and AI-enabled infrastructure, Iver is well positioned to meet strong demand for secure and robust European technology services. The company’s hybrid strategy combines strategic partnerships with global technology leaders such as Microsoft and Broadcom with its own European cloud platform, Cleura. This approach enables Iver’s customers to balance innovation and flexibility with regulatory compliance and data sovereignty requirements.
At this stage of the company’s growth, Iver’s primary focus will be to continue scaling the hybrid cloud platform and further develop sovereign services for customers with stringent requirements for compliance, data storage and security.
“Our customers operate in an increasingly complex environment where data sovereignty, regulatory compliance and cyber threats are reshaping IT priorities. Iver has built a strong position in areas that are becoming ever more business-critical, particularly in sovereign European cloud services and secure infrastructure. The recruitment of Pär Fors will further strengthen our ability to grow the business and capitalize on this opportunity. Pär is a highly experienced, results-driven leader with a proven track record of building high-performing, customer-focused organizations,” says Bertrand Barthelemy, Chairman of Iver.
“I look forward to joining Iver at this exciting stage. The shift toward European digital sovereignty is accelerating, and organizations increasingly demand cloud and infrastructure solutions that combine high performance with full control over data and regulatory compliance. Iver has already established a market-leading offering in this space. Our focus now is to scale the platform and support more customers in running and modernizing their most business-critical applications, including AI workloads, in secure and compliant environments,” says Pär Fors, incoming CEO of Iver.
Pär Fors brings extensive CEO experience and leadership from senior roles across the industry. Most recently he served as CEO of NNIT, a leading provider of IT solutions to life science companies internationally and to the public and private sectors in Denmark. Prior to that, Pär was CEO of CGI Scandinavia and has held several senior positions at Nordic IT services firms. During his time at CGI he played a central role in strengthening the company’s position as a leading partner for large-scale digital transformation, delivering both growth and improved profitability.
When Pär Fors assumes the role of CEO on June 1, 2026, Bertrand Barthelemy will return to focusing solely on his duties as Chairman of the Board.
