Frosted Static-Cling Window Privacy Film Roll — 17.5 x 78.7 in
Product description
Two-way privacy around the clock: This frosted static-cling film creates a visual barrier so people can’t see into your space during daytime or at night while still allowing mellow daylight to enter. It delivers roughly 80% privacy protection so interiors remain softly lit without being exposed.
UVA/UVB protection: Independently tested, the material reduces UVA rays by about 59% and UVB rays by about 89%, helping to cut glare, lower interior temperatures, and protect furnishings from sun-driven fading.
Static-cling, nonadhesive vinyl: The film uses a strong static cling rather than glue, so it adheres to glass and shower doors without leaving residue. It’s designed to be removable and reusable for temporary or changing needs.
Simple DIY installation: The roll comes with a peel backing tab and a 1-inch grid printed on the backing to make measuring and trimming straightforward. Trim to the required size, apply with a little soapy water for a secure hold, then smooth with a squeegee for best results.
Renter-friendly and versatile: Intended as a nonpermanent privacy solution, the roll measures 17.5 inches wide by 78.7 inches long and can be used on windows, bathroom glass, office partitions, sliding doors, and more. Because it isn’t adhesive, it can be taken down and reused in other locations.

VerdictA renter-friendly frosted window film that balances light diffusion and privacy. The nonadhesive static-cling vinyl holds firmly to glass, resists UV fading, and reduces glare and heat. Installation is DIY-friendly with a peel tab, 1" grid for cutting, and water activation; it’s removable and can be reused. Good option for bathrooms, offices, patio doors, and garage windows when you want quick pri

Handy for temporary window covering
I used pieces to mask windows while painting and they stuck well and removed cleanly. Very convenient for short-term coverage.

Stopped the barking instantly
Placed on front windows and my dogs stopped barking at every stimulus. Light still comes through but they no longer sit and stare. Installation was a bit awkward alone; would recommend a helper. Would buy again.

Nice finish and straightforward to fit
Looks good on the glass and was easy to apply. Clean the pane first and use a sharp blade to trim. I used a plastic scraper, but a card works too. Happy to avoid replacing windows.

Quick and effective install
Super simple to fit and it blocked outside views into my garage as intended.

Stopped the puppy from barking
Bought to keep my pup from reacting to passersby. Previous brand’s backing was impossible to peel, but this roll was simple to install. Instructions were clear and the film filters light while keeping privacy. Will get another to cover the sliding door.

Easy to place but bubbles returned
Application was easy and I could get rid of bubbles at first, but a few reformed after a couple of days.

Works well on bright west-facing glass
Used on a west window — it lets light through but reads opaque from both sides. I noticed a small heat reduction. Cut and applied with a box cutter, squeegee, soap water and scissors; the roll required minor trimming and peeling took a bit of practice.

Reusable and effective
The film stuck well and was reusable. I sprayed cleaner instead of soap water and it adhered right away. Moved it a few weeks later and it still performed — delighted with the durability.

Great privacy, easy application
Perfect for creating a private space. Went on smoothly with a little soapy water and delivered the privacy we needed — very satisfied with the outcome.

Does the job and keeps things private
Works well so far. Installation was manageable; a cutting tool helps. From outside you can see light but not the inside activity.

Ideal for securing garage window views
Worried about people seeing inside my garage, I chose the opaque option so shapes aren’t visible. The standard roll fit my inset panes and I covered eight windows in about 2.5 hours. Use an installation kit (knife, felt squeegee, spray bottle) and spray the adhesive side lightly with soapy water for best results.

Attractive but a little tricky to cut
The frost looks great and blocks sightlines well, even at night. The material is substantial, which makes cutting a straight edge difficult; it also tends to roll down on tall panes during fitting. Good result, just takes patience.
