Magnetic 25ft Double-Sided Retractable Tape Measure with Fraction Marks
Product description
Built for regular jobsite use, this retractable measuring tool includes the tape housing, a belt clip and a removable wrist lanyard. The blade is 1 inch wide and extends to 25 feet.
The blade itself is manufactured from thickened carbon steel and finished with a nylon coating for extra abrasion resistance. That construction gives the tape enough stiffness to extend several feet without collapsing, making long single-person runs easier.
The case is molded from high-hardness ABS plastic and wrapped with TPR elastic rubber at impact points to resist drops and scuffs. The compact shell fits comfortably on a belt via the metal clip and can be carried by the included hanging lanyard.
A powerful magnet is embedded in the hook so the end will stick to ferrous surfaces for hands-free measuring. The hook is a sliding, zero-point correction style so inside and outside measurements are compensated for the hook thickness automatically.
A secure sliding thumb lock holds the blade in place when extended and releases smoothly when you need to retract. The printed blade features easy-to-read 1/8" fractional marks, foot marks and triangle markings every 19.2" for quick stud-spacing reference — designed for pros and serious DIYers.

Sturdy and the magnet actually works
Impressed enough with the initial two-pack that I ordered another. As a professional electrician who’s owned many tapes, I wish something like this had been around for the last 35 years.

Great practice tool for a beginner
Bought this for my son who’s learning how to read a tape — the markings are clear and easy to follow. Would recommend for learners. Packaging and delivery were quick.

Perfect size for my event
Exactly what I needed for a work event. The blue trim made it easy to tell mine apart. The blade extends smoothly and the markings are easy to read. Seems well made and a fair value. Expecting many years of service.

Wide blade, easy to control
I wanted a tape that would extend several feet before collapsing; this one does. The color makes it easy to spot if someone borrows it. The magnet will pick up bits I drop like clamps and keys without being overly strong. The lock lets me control rewind speed by applying pressure without touching the blade edge, and it locks solid when needed. Helpful length cues printed on the back are a nice touch. Time will reveal long-term durability.

Solid construction and smooth action
Feels very sturdy and durable. The blade winds and unwinds smoothly, and the magnetic tip is handy. Only complaint: no metric markings. The blue finish is attractive as well.

Dependable in the shop and field
I’ve had good results with these and bought a pair as gifts. Some versions had a wrist strap that interfered near a chop saw, so watch that if you work around tools. I’ve used mine over a year and frequently extend it fully to 12' without problems. Colleagues borrow it for clear readouts on planed wood. The magnet is genuinely useful — it stuck to metal workpieces and even helped me retrieve a dropped bolt from deep in an engine bay.

Finally found a compact double-sided 12' tape
I’ve been carrying this for under a week as my everyday compact measure, replacing an old 12' Stanley. The dual-sided marks are crisp and the magnet on the hook holds well. Bought mainly for the small size and double-sided printing. My only minor gripe was the annoying tail strap that I had to either cut off or open the case to remove; I opened it without winding the spring free, so no harm done. Build quality is decent — not outstanding, but not poor. Time will tell on blade longevity, but for now I’m giving it five stars.

Good small substitute for a pricier brand
I lost a small premium tape and decided to try this one. It’s tiny, comes with a wrist strap, and has two small magnets on the hook like my old unit. The hook design helps pick out metal debris and gives a firmer hold. It runs smoothly, appears accurate, the lock is simple to use, and the retracting tension is well balanced. I haven’t had it long but it’s holding up — be cautious when retracting so the hook doesn’t slam into anything.
