BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Brushless 1/2-in. Cordless Drill Driver Kit
Product description
High-performance cordless tools: This kit centers on a brushless motor drill and screwdriver that deliver notably more power and longer runtime compared with a brushed equivalent. The package is designed to tackle typical home projects and light trade tasks with improved efficiency and durability.
What’s included: The set ships with the cordless brushless 1/2-inch drill/driver, a 2.0Ah POWERCONNECT battery, a charger, a 30-piece assortment of drill and screwdriver bits, a nut driver set, a magnetic bit holder, and a removable belt clip to keep the tool handy on the job.
Key specifications and controls: The drill offers up to 486 in-lbs of maximum torque and can drill up to 92 holes per charge in common softwood applications using the specified battery. A 1/2-inch single-sleeve metal keyless chuck makes bit swaps fast. Two speed ranges (0–450 and 0–1,900 no-load RPM), a variable trigger, ten clutch positions plus a full drilling setting provide precise control for driving and drilling.
User-friendly features: Built-in LED illumination helps light the workpiece, and a soft-grip handle improves comfort during longer tasks. The battery has a state-of-charge indicator so you can see remaining power at a glance. The tool head is shorter than previous models, letting you reach tighter spaces more easily.
Compatibility and warranty: The included POWERCONNECT battery is part of the BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX family and works with compatible tools, outdoor products, and chargers. Maximum initial battery voltage is 20V (nominal 18V). The product carries a 2-year limited warranty; registering the product within 30 days extends coverage by an additional 3 years.

My go-to for assembling new furniture
This drill plus its bit assortment quickly became my favorite for putting furniture together. It arrived with some charge and started working immediately. The keyless chuck behaved a bit differently than my older B&D, but was easy enough to learn. Speed and clutch options were especially helpful for switching between fast assembly and careful, slower driving to avoid splitting pieces while holding them in place.

Reliable for DIY and everyday home tasks
Impressed by the build and capability for the price. The brushless motor provides enough punch for assembling furniture, hanging shelves and drilling pilot holes. It’s compact and comfortable, the two speeds and adjustable clutch offer good control, and the metal keyless chuck makes bit changes quick. The included 30-piece set is a welcome addition.

A powerful little drill that’s easy to use for household jobs or light work. It’s lightweight so it doesn’t tire your wrist, the battery charges fast and lasts through many tasks, and the included bits are good quality. I’m so pleased I’m thinking of buying more as gifts.
