Defective charger ruined the experience

Good deal but not built for heavy duty
Exceptional value for the cost and includes oil and a brush. On a full charge it cut steadily for an hour or two and is best for 1"–2" limbs. It can handle thicker branches but drains the battery and requires patience. The bar and tensioning parts feel fragile and the chain has thrown a few times; expect those to be weak points under heavy use.

Perfect for my yard tasks
I used this little chainsaw to trim old pygmy palms and take lower branches off a mesquite. I'm 68 and had never used a tool like this, but it was light and easy to handle. Works well but tensioning design needs rework
Nice handling and good one-handed control. While cutting a stack of hardwood the chain and bar heated up and required breaks. The chain tensioning uses small springs and a plastic-mounted screw that feels fragile — that design should be replaced with a metal set screw accessible under the cover.
