Black Machine-Washable 5x7 Area Rug for Living Room & Bedroom
Product description
Machine-washable construction: The rug is manufactured from durable synthetic fibers treated for stain resistance and finished with a plush, low 0.35-inch pile. The surface is soft to the touch and engineered to shed minimally while maintaining color over regular use.
Anti-slip backing and extras: A heavy textured TPR (thermoplastic rubber) backing—rated around 1000 GSM—helps hold the rug in place on smooth floors and reduces scuffing from shoe or furniture movement. The package includes a set of rug grips to enhance stability on slick surfaces.
Sizing and fit: This listing highlights the 5' x 7' (60" x 84") footprint, but the rug family is offered in a wide range of dimensions, from small door mats up to very large formats (examples include 2x3, 3x5, 4x6, 5x7, 6x9, 8x10, 9x12 and larger; measurements are manual so expect minor variance of about ±0.1 ft / 3 cm).
Care and maintenance: Regular vacuuming keeps fibers looking fresh. Smaller sizes (roughly 2x3 to 6x9) fit into a front-load machine for cold-water gentle cycles; very large sizes should be cleaned in commercial front-load washers. Line dry or tumble on low; avoid bleach and prolonged direct sun exposure to reduce fading.
Handling packaging creases: The rug ships folded to reduce waste. Lay it flat and allow 24–48 hours to relax; light hand-smoothing or a low-heat iron used over a cloth barrier will speed crease removal. Avoid forceful pulling which can distort fibers.
Recommended uses: Suited to bedrooms, living rooms, entryways, hallways, dining rooms, home offices and as a pet-friendly washable mat. The low profile makes it compatible with robot vacuums and helps prevent obstruction at doorways.

Very pleased — looks great and washable
I love this rug in my kitchen and appreciate that it can go in the washer. Quality exceeded my expectations and customer service was helpful. Highly recommend.

Disappointed — too thin and unstable on carpet
Very thin compared with photos, and the color didn’t match expectations. It slides on carpet and the crease wouldn’t fully come out despite following care tips. Not a good fit for carpeted rooms needing stability.

Solid quality and pleasant colors
Soft material and overall good construction. Colors are subtle and look nice in my space.

Nice texture but lacks padding and traction on carpet
Cute and soft, but there’s no cushioning underneath and it doesn’t grip well on carpet. Good enough for the cost and it serves its basic purpose.

Functional and attractive by the pool door
Nice-looking and pleasant to walk on. I placed it inside the sliding door to the pool and it helps keep the floor dry and reduces slipping. Haven’t laundered it yet, so I can’t comment on machine washing.

Soft feel, secure grip, lovely muted abstract tones
Very attractive addition to our guest room. The non-slip backing holds well and the surface is soft underfoot. The muted sage and caramel abstract pattern works with our gray-green palette. Photo shown under lamp didn’t capture the true shades, but the 2x5 size fits the space nicely.

Strong grip and multifunctional use
I accidentally bought two and I’m glad I did. One sits in the hallway to keep feet clean and give the cats a scratch surface; the other is for the bathroom where it stays put. It’s attractive and seems washable.

Exceeded expectations — soft, weighty, attractive
Heavier and nicer than I expected when it arrived. The creases smoothed out quickly and the pattern is beautiful; my son loved it in his dorm room. Too soon to judge long-term wear but I’m impressed so far (we chose the black-and-white option).

Lovely look but too thin for high-traffic pet areas
The design and feel are appealing and the included grips are thoughtful, but the 4ft round I ordered looked smaller than expected and the folded packaging created deep creases. The material felt too thin for a busy dog household, and I worried a larger size might not fit a home washer.
