Lenovo is bringing its largest global innovation event ever to the world’s biggest technology trade show — CES 2026 — and has chosen the groundbreaking Sphere in Las Vegas as the venue for its 11th annual Tech World. The event takes place on the opening day, January 6, 2026, and begins with a keynote address by Lenovo’s Chairman and CEO, Yuanqing Yang.
Tech World @ CES 2026 will present a spectacular showcase of Lenovo’s technological vision and innovations, featuring AI-driven solutions, new products and concepts, and the company’s mission to deliver a future of “smarter AI for all”. The Sphere — recognized for its distinct spherical design and advanced capabilities — is a key partner in the event. Specially produced content developed by Sphere Studios will be integrated into the program, and Lenovo is the event’s official technology partner.
“Tech World has, over the past decade, become our premier platform to demonstrate Lenovo’s vision, innovations and partnerships,” says Yuanqing Yang. “At CES 2026 we will reveal how our technology has transformed Formula 1®, outline plans for the world’s first AI-enabled FIFA World Cup, and launch the next phase of our Hybrid AI strategy — spanning individual devices to enterprise solutions.”
Lenovo is a global technology partner for both FIFA World Cup 26™ and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™, as well as for Formula 1®, making sports technology a prominent theme at this year’s Tech World. Attendees will get a preview of how Lenovo leverages AI, edge computing and hybrid infrastructure to enhance user experiences and drive business outcomes.
The Sphere, the event’s location, represents a new generation of venues designed to deliver immersive, large-scale experiences. Jennifer Koester, President and COO of Sphere, commented on the partnership:
“Sphere is a platform for innovation, and Lenovo is a visionary partner. We are excited to be part of this collaboration that not only shapes future technologies but also transforms how people experience them.”
Gary Shapiro, CEO of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), organizer of CES, added:
“CES is where the world’s most innovative companies unveil their ideas. We look forward to hearing Yuanqing Yang’s vision and seeing how Lenovo propels the future of technology.”
Beyond the keynote, Tech World @ CES will feature leading voices from the technology industry, creators, partners and influencers. The audience should expect a high-tech visual and interactive experience that can only be delivered in a venue like the Sphere.
Lenovo is supplying not only the on-stage technology but also the production infrastructure behind the scenes — Sphere Studios is using Lenovo workstations and infrastructure solutions to create and run the event content. This collaboration demonstrates Lenovo’s end-to-end capabilities across production, AI and digital storytelling, illustrating how integrated hardware and software solutions power immersive experiences and scalable enterprise deployments.
At Tech World @ CES 2026, Lenovo will highlight real-world applications of Hybrid AI across industries, show advancements in edge computing that support latency-sensitive and data-intensive workloads, and present new product concepts designed to bring smarter AI into everyday workflows. Attendees can expect demonstrations that focus on usability, sustainability and measurable business value, with examples drawn from sports technology partnerships and enterprise deployments alike.
This event also underscores Lenovo’s commitment to collaboration across ecosystems — working with creative studios, technology partners and industry bodies to accelerate innovation. By combining immersive venue capabilities with enterprise-grade compute and AI platforms, Lenovo aims to present compelling, demonstrable use cases that help organizations and consumers adopt AI responsibly and effectively.
Tech World @ CES 2026 will be both a showcase and a roadmap: a place to experience cutting-edge demonstrations and to learn how Lenovo’s hybrid AI strategy, infrastructure solutions and creative partnerships will shape the future of connected, intelligent experiences.
