Checkout solution Kustom has launched a strategic partnership with delivery platform Ingrid, which is now integrated directly into Kustom’s shipping selector. By linking delivery intelligence with checkout data on customer behavior, merchants gain a much clearer, unified view of the purchase flow. This enables merchants to test, customize, personalize, and optimize shipping options in real time. The result is higher conversion rates, increased delivery revenue, and fewer returns. Adlibris is among the first retailers to go live with the new solution.
The integration marks a strategic improvement for merchants using Ingrid and Kustom. Previously, Ingrid’s platform was managed as a separate integration outside the checkout. Now Ingrid’s delivery intelligence is embedded directly in Kustom’s shipping selector, creating a more cohesive buying experience. For the first time, delivery decisions can be based on real-time signals derived from combined customer data. This both improves and personalizes the user experience and reduces technical complexity for merchants.
Shipping options are a critical part of the customer journey and a common reason for abandoned purchases. With the deeper partnership, Ingrid and Kustom data can be synchronized, giving merchants better insight into how shipping choices, delivery options, and costs affect the buying process. Merchants can work more strategically with delivery to drive conversion, increase margins, and reduce unnecessary returns.

“Ingrid and Kustom are both market leaders in their respective segments. By connecting the experiences, we increase value for the merchant. It’s about more than a smoother flow — it’s about acting on data that drives conversion and reduces returns. One plus one becomes three for our shared merchants,” says Rasmus Fahlander, Head of Product at Kustom.
Merchants will continue to have separate contracts with Kustom and Ingrid. Kustom’s pricing remains unchanged, but total operating and maintenance costs can be reduced thanks to a simplified technical structure.

“We build Kustom so merchants can focus on their business, not on connecting technology. That’s why we gather market-leading functionality in an open ecosystem through partnerships. The deeper integration with Ingrid is a natural step to reduce complexity and enhance business value for our merchants,” says Kamjar Hajabdolahi, CEO of Kustom.

“Delivery has moved from an operational task to a decisive part of the purchase experience. By integrating Ingrid’s delivery intelligence directly into Kustom’s checkout flow, merchants can for the first time test, optimize, and act on delivery data at the moment the purchase decision is made. It’s not just about offering more shipping options; it’s about using data to present the right option to each customer, which increases conversion, improves margins, and builds trust throughout the purchase journey,” says Susanna Grill Erntell, CEO of Ingrid.
The partnership has been developed over the past six months. The integration is available to Kustom merchants as an optional feature in all markets where Ingrid operates. Adlibris will be among the first merchants to implement the new setup.
Kustom’s founder Kamjar Hajabdolahi, through BLQ Invest — which is also Kustom’s principal owner — holds a minority stake in Ingrid.
