As Swedish municipalities digitize elder care, demands for information security, regulatory compliance and operational reliability are growing. At the same time, procurements are becoming more resource-intensive, characterized by extensive security questionnaires, manual reviews and increasing regulatory requirements.
To address these challenges, Everon has launched the Everon Trust Center — a centralized, structured portal where municipal IT departments and procurement officers can access up-to-date information about Everon’s security practices, compliance and governance almost in real time.
What previously took weeks of email exchanges and back-and-forth inquiries can now be verified directly by the customer. Everon estimates that the Trust Center saves customers 30–50% of the time spent on audits and follow-ups while ensuring information is always available. The Trust Center makes relevant documentation, tests, policies and controls accessible in one place, giving customers full insight into and control over Everon’s systematic security work.
From manual security reviews to structured transparency
Security reviews have become a bottleneck in many public procurements. IT and security managers are expected to evaluate vendors through long questionnaires, document requests and repeated follow-ups, often asking the same questions over and over. Traditionally, vendors have acted as gatekeepers, deciding what information to share, with whom and when.
The Everon Trust Center is designed to replace this fragmented approach with a single, continuously updated source of truth. Instead of handling security questions on an ad hoc basis, Everon makes relevant documentation available in one place so procuring organizations can independently verify compliance and controls.
Morten Moland, Product Lead at Everon, says:
– With the Everon Trust Center we open up and enable our customers to retrieve the information they need when they need it. What used to require weeks of email correspondence can now be verified directly by the customer. We know this is much needed because it increases transparency and clarity while saving time and resources in monitoring compliance for systems in production. We also hope the Trust Center will simplify and speed up parts of the procurement process.
Visible security and compliance
Through the Trust Center, Everon proactively shares information about its security and compliance work, including:
• Frameworks and certifications for information security
• ISO 27001:2022
• Data protection and privacy (GDPR)
• Preparations and alignment with NIS2
• Operational controls such as encryption, redundancy and access management
• The platform can also be extended to include future frameworks, for example AI Act related guidance or ISO 42001 for AI governance
The intent is not only to meet formal requirements but to make Everon’s security efforts transparent, understandable and verifiable even for non-technical decision-makers involved in procurement. With the launch of the Trust Center, Everon positions itself as a leader in this area.
Trust as the foundation for modern welfare technology
The Trust Center is part of Everon’s long-term effort to embed security, stability and compliance as fundamental elements of modern welfare technology rather than as issues addressed late in a project.
– In elder care the technology must work every day, without exception, says Maud Waltersson, CEO of Everon Sweden. Trust is about more than data. It’s about operational reliability, accountability and creating security for staff, municipalities and relatives.
