20" High-Velocity Wall/Floor Fan — Heavy-Duty 20-inch Unit
Product description
Includes a 20-inch high-velocity fan head plus a QuickMount bracket so you can use it on the floor or attach it to a wall for space-saving placement. The package also features a built-in handle for easy carrying and rubber feet to protect surfaces when used on the floor.
The fan uses three metal blades behind a metal blade cage, driven by a motor with three selectable speeds. The housing and support are made of tubular steel for durability in heavier-use environments like garages, workshops, kitchens, and home gyms.
A pivoting head lets you aim the airflow where it’s most needed for spot cooling or circulation. Controls are manual and straightforward; the unit is ETL listed and includes a safety fuse (Blue Plug safety technology) for added electrical protection.
Assembly is simple and requires no special tools: attach the stand or wall bracket, secure the cage, and fasten the blades. Designed for sustained use, it’s intended to move large volumes of air efficiently and withstand routine cleaning and occasional maintenance.
Pros
- Very powerful airflow for large spaces
- Durable metal construction and blades
- Converts easily between floor and wall use
Cons
- Noticeable noise on the highest setting
- Speed steps are not dramatically different
- Heavier than plastic fans—less portable
VerdictThis 20" high-velocity fan delivers strong, focused airflow and is built to endure heavier-duty use than typical plastic fans. It’s versatile thanks to the QuickMount bracket and pivoting head, plus metal blades and a tubular steel frame for long life. Expect notable noise at top speed, but overall it’s a solid choice where raw air movement and durability matter.

Beastly airflow
This fan is a beast — kept me cool on the treadmill in a very hot garage. Powerful and reliable.

Bought after borrowing — impressed
Borrowed a friend’s fan when our AC went out and it moved so much air I immediately purchased one. The wall/ceiling mount will be useful in the garage and it’s great for quick cooling near doors.

Outstanding airflow and useful QuickMount
Moves tremendous air even on low compared with standard plastic fans. QuickMount makes switching to the wall simple. Heavy-duty frame and blades, pivot head aims easily. Expect some noise on high but worth the power.

Extremely powerful, a little noisy
Very strong airflow—so effective I skipped AC on some hot days up to about 90°F. It’s loud at max but the white noise is tolerable. Overall very satisfied; a big step up from my older models.

Five years later and still like new
After five years and a routine cleaning it runs as good as new. I use it in the kitchen to draw fresh air in and it’s easy to disassemble to remove pet hair from the grille.

Perfect for my garage gym
Used for a month in a two-car garage and it circulates the space well. Low and medium are usually enough. I have it on the floor for now but may mount it later. Feels sturdy and is easy to angle.

Plug compatibility problem
Fan works well but the plug isn’t compatible with my country’s outlets; plug type doesn’t fit local sockets.

Arrived DOA
I received the unit but it won’t power on.

Good build but not as strong as a cheaper rival
Compared it to a Powermax I bought earlier; that model felt stronger on its top setting. Lasko is a bit louder, and the three speeds have only modest differences. Still solid, just not the absolute strongest I’ve tried.

Sturdy all-metal fan — very pleased
Owned for a few months and much happier than with cheap plastic fans. All-metal construction and blades feel solid. I use it on the floor aimed toward my AC vent to circulate cool air across the room and it works great. Hoping it lasts for years.

Still running after years, minor maintenance fixed it
After 3+ years it started slowing and squeaking due to debris around the motor. Cleaned the area and applied a rust-resistant spray; performance returned to like-new. Initial power impressed me and it’s held up well with a little upkeep.
