Strada, a leading provider of integrated payroll, workforce management and financial control solutions, has appointed Colin Brennan as its new Chief Executive Officer. This appointment marks an important milestone for the company, which launched in July 2024 after spinning off its payroll and professional services operations from Alight Solutions.
Brennan brings nearly 30 years of experience in digital and HR-related industries and has a proven track record of driving growth and business transformation. He spent more than 27 years with Strada’s predecessor organizations, including Alight Solutions and Aon Hewitt, holding senior roles such as Chief Customer Officer, Chief Product Strategy and Solutions Officer and President of Payroll and Cloud Solutions. His deep knowledge of the business and strong understanding of client needs position him well to lead Strada into its next phase. Most recently, Brennan served as Chief Revenue Officer at Lumin Digital, a fintech company specializing in digital banking solutions.

Strada has also named Richard Hanks as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s global finance function. Hanks is an experienced CFO with extensive expertise in growing and transforming global technology and services businesses across the United States, Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Strada, he served as CFO at Williams Lea, a global provider of technology-driven business support services, and at Clarivate, a publicly traded, global leader in data, analytics and information services.
Focus on innovation and growth under new leadership
Under Brennan’s leadership, Strada will concentrate on expanding its technology and services portfolio to meet the demands of a dynamic and geographically diverse workforce. The company remains committed to driving innovation and delivering exceptional value to its more than 1,400 customers, a legacy built over the past three decades.
Brennan plans to play an active role in strengthening strategic partnerships to accelerate business growth, including forming new alliances and deepening relationships with market leaders such as Workday, SAP and Oracle.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Brennan said: “I am extremely excited to join Strada and lead the company into this exciting new chapter of its 30‑year journey. With a strong track record, a team deeply committed to customer service and an impressive client base, this is a tremendous opportunity. Returning to an industry I am passionate about, I see many opportunities to continue transforming the sector.”
Hanks added: “It is truly exciting to join Strada’s leadership at this pivotal point in the company’s evolution. The business’s existing strengths provide a solid foundation to unlock significant potential and consistently deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers, partners and especially our team.”
