Stainless Steel General-Purpose Lab Forceps — Straight Broad Strong Tips (12 in / 300 mm)

Product description

These general application forceps come in two length options — 6 in. and 12 in. — so you can choose the reach that suits your work. Each unit features straight, broad tips formed into strong, serrated jaws to provide a firm grip on specimens and small parts.

Manufactured from 304 antimagnetic stainless steel, the instrument is corrosion-resistant and built for repeated use. The metal construction reflects premium-quality craftsmanship and allows safe autoclaving for sterilization between uses.

The forceps are designed for a range of applications including dissections, laboratory procedures, research tasks, and handling of small components. Their broad, sturdy tips excel at heavy-duty gripping and manipulation where fine-point precision is not required.

Pros

  • Sturdy 304 antimagnetic stainless steel construction
  • Serrated broad tips for secure gripping
  • Corrosion-resistant and autoclavable

Cons

  • Broad tips not ideal for extremely fine precision
  • Heavier feel may tire extended use
  • Grip texture may be less comfortable for some users

VerdictA robust pair of straight, broad-tipped forceps built for general lab tasks. The 304 antimagnetic stainless construction resists corrosion and tolerates autoclaving, while serrated strong tips give reliable purchase on tissue and small components. Best for heavy-duty handling rather than ultra-fine precision work.
