Sigma Technology Secures Framework Agreement with Sveriges Radio for IT Consulting Services

Sigma Technology IT Group, a business unit within Sigma Technology Group, has signed a framework agreement with Sveriges Radio to deliver IT consultancy services. The agreement is part of Sveriges Radio’s long-term strategy for securing competence and aims to strengthen the organisation with specialist skills both in the short and long term.

Sigma Technology has worked with Sveriges Radio as a subcontractor over the past three years, supporting the company’s move to the cloud among other initiatives. Sigma Technology IT Group is now one of three winners in the new framework agreements for IT consultancy services. The agreement runs for two years with an option to extend for an additional two years.

Under the framework agreement, Sigma Technology will provide expertise in IT infrastructure, software development, digitalisation and cloud-based solutions. The services include both technical specialist knowledge and leadership to support Sveriges Radio’s ongoing development and innovation efforts.

Sveriges Radio continuously forms new teams and supplements its internal organisation with external expertise. Through the collaboration with Sigma Technology, the broadcaster gains access to experienced consultants who can contribute to development projects, strengthen existing teams and bring specialised know‑how in new technology areas.

“For us, this is a very important collaboration. Sveriges Radio is a central actor in society with high demands on technology, accessibility and security. Being one of three winners in this procurement shows that our combined expertise in cloud, digitalisation and IT is well matched to their needs. We look forward to contributing to their development by delivering both specialist skills and leadership in complex projects,” says Rashin Kabodvand, CEO of Sigma Technology Cloud, who is responsible for client relations under the framework agreement.

“This is an important milestone in our journey to provide broad, high-quality solutions in digitalisation and sustainable development. We are proud of the trust placed in us by Sveriges Radio and to be one of their selected suppliers of IT consultancy services,” says Johan Edlund, CEO of Sigma Technology IT Group.

Sigma Technology IT Group is part of Sigma Technology Group AB and is one of the Nordic region’s leading consultancy firms in cloud, digitalisation, software development and IT. The new framework agreement strengthens the company’s position as a key partner for mission-critical organisations in Sweden and across the Nordics.
