The German cybersecurity company SECUINFRA is launching operations in Sweden. Its expansion is marked by the appointment of a Nordic head of business — industry veteran Torben Clemmensen.
SECUINFRA expands into Sweden
The German IT security firm, specializing in detecting, analyzing, and defending organizations against cyberattacks, is extending its presence to Sweden. SECUINFRA was founded in 2010 by Ramon Weil and has since grown organically without external funding.
Services in Managed Detection & Response and Incident Response
The company primarily offers services in Managed Detection & Response (MDR) and Incident Response (IR) — two areas where SECUINFRA takes comprehensive responsibility for clients’ IT security and provides 24/7 monitoring. The goal is to identify threats and attack attempts quickly and neutralize them before they can cause significant damage.
In addition, SECUINFRA provides vendor-independent specialist consultants, enabling companies in Denmark and the wider Nordic region to access the highest level of cybersecurity expertise.
A growing threat landscape demands stronger cybersecurity
“The threat level facing European businesses has never been greater. We want to contribute to a safer Europe by detecting cyberattacks early and preventing the extensive damage they often cause,” says founder Ramon Weil, adding:
“We are seeing a situation in which even smaller organizations are increasingly targeted by sophisticated attacks from cybercriminals — or worse. That is why advanced cybersecurity services must become accessible to as many companies as possible.”
New Nordic head will guide regional expansion
As part of its Nordic expansion, SECUINFRA has hired cybersecurity specialist Torben Clemmensen as Business Development Manager for the Nordics. He most recently served as Regional Manager North EMEA at the French security company TEHTRIS and brings many years of experience from the Danish cybersecurity sector.
Torben Clemmensen will lead SECUINFRA’s efforts across the Nordic region and ensure that companies and organizations in the area benefit from the company’s expertise in incident handling, security monitoring, and advanced threat analysis.
“SECUINFRA’s entry into the Nordic market is critical to meeting the rising demand for advanced cybersecurity solutions in the region. With our experience, we can help Nordic organizations protect their critical infrastructure against increasingly sophisticated threats,” says Clemmensen.
