Sigma Technology IT Group has been chosen as one of the selected consulting firms included in a new framework agreement with the Swedish Government’s central purchasing body, via Kammarkollegiet. The agreement takes effect in August 2025 and runs for four years.
Kammarkollegiet acts as asset manager, procurement authority, insurer and legal advisor for central government. The state purchasing unit at Kammarkollegiet oversees procurement for Swedish public sector organizations — including government agencies, regions, municipalities and other public bodies — with the aim of streamlining purchases of goods and services that are commonly procured across the public sector.
The procurement for IT consultancy services to meet operational IT needs covers services in business development, requirements management, usability and accessibility. Kammarkollegiet places special emphasis on sustainability, accessibility, information security, e-commerce and supply security. Following a thorough tender process, Sigma Technology IT Group was selected as one of nine approved suppliers.
“Kammarkollegiet places significant focus on selecting suppliers that address environmental and social considerations and support the government’s procurement strategy, Agenda 2030 and the national environmental objectives. We are therefore especially proud to be chosen as one of the selected suppliers. With our strong expertise in digitalisation and digital inclusion, we look forward to contributing to Sweden’s digital development,” says Anna Nyblin, Bid Manager at Sigma Technology IT Group.
The framework agreement with Kammarkollegiet further strengthens Sigma Technology’s strategy to become Sweden’s leading IT supplier to the public sector. Sigma Technology has previously signed agreements with Region Jönköping County, CSN, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, and the Norwegian Veterinary Institute.
“Our strategic focus in the public sector is to build long-term relationships with our clients to drive digitalisation projects forward. With our broad delivery capacity and execution capability, we can help government actors secure the quality of their digital and sustainable initiatives. Winning the framework agreement with Kammarkollegiet is an important milestone for us,” says Johan Edlund, CEO of Sigma Technology IT Group.
