Rapiclip Green Jute Garden Twine in Dispenser Can — 325 ft
Product description
This product is a 325-foot spool of 3-ply natural jute twine supplied in a metal dispenser can. The twine is dyed green so it blends in with foliage and looks neater when used outdoors. Natural jute fiber makes it biodegradable and compostable, offering an eco-conscious alternative to synthetic ties.
The set includes the full length of twine wound inside a resealable dispenser can that features a feed opening and an integrated cutting edge for quick, one-handed snips. The cord is a multi-strand jute construction intended to balance strength and softness so it won't easily gouge plant stems.
Rapiclip offers this twine in green or brown and in multiple lengths to suit different projects. Typical uses include tying up vines, supporting tomatoes and other vegetables, bundling recycling or paper, craft projects, and light household fastening. The dispenser doubles as a tidy storage solution for the garage, shed, or pantry.
Pros
- Biodegradable 3-ply jute
- Dispenser can with cutter for easy use
- Green color hides among plants
Cons
- Can lose tension over time
- Cutting edge can be fussy to use
- Dye may rub off slightly on hands
VerdictA practical, eco-friendly choice for gardeners and household tasks. The 3-ply jute is soft on stems, compostable, and the dispenser keeps the line tidy and accessible. It’s not indestructible — some users report loss of tension over time or occasional breakage — but for many seasonal tying and craft jobs it performs reliably and looks unobtrusive among plants.

Simple and effective
Very easy to use and safer than grabbing wire. I’d like it a bit thicker, but it still supports tomatoes, zucchini and eggplant well. Overall a handy product for garden support.

Good product — unobtrusive
Strong cord and the container’s cutting mechanism makes trimming quick. It blends nicely with plants. I would buy it again when needed.

Lost tension after a few weeks
Initially fine for tomatoes and other plants, but after a few weeks the string slackened and plants leaned. Expect to retie several times during a season. Disappointed and won’t repurchase for long-term ties.

Dispenser handy but twine can break
The can and clip are convenient, but the string snapped a few times when I pulled hard on knots. Useful, but not as durable as I had hoped.

Exactly what it is
It’s twine. It’s green. It does what I needed.

Much better than coated wire
After struggling with plastic-coated wire that mangled plants and a poor dispenser, this is a relief. The can works properly and should last several seasons. I keep small scissors in the dispenser loop for quick cuts. Wish I’d started with this.

Cutting trick and garden-friendly
Pulling the twine straight up against the cutter works every time — pulling across doesn’t. The green dye can rub a bit on hands, but it washes off. The twine is soft on stems and hasn’t caused damage; it also stays tangle-free in the can.

Excellent build and subtle color
Bought it for tying up heavy tomato vines — it blends in and is very strong. The built-in dispenser makes tying bundles quicker. I also use it to tie recycling and small packages. Great product, though I thought it lacked a cutter.

Great twine, friendly seller
I used this to train a huge bush next to my deck and it held up well. The green color provides privacy and blends in. Plenty of strong twine for the job, and the folks who sold it were very pleasant to deal with.

Hidden but reliable support
This green twine solved drooping limbs without standing out. Baling twine unraveled when wet and cotton showed too much; plastic ties can cut stems. This twine is strong, blends in, and comes with a cutter.

Versatile and attractive dispenser
I used this for climbing roses on the pergola and discovered many other uses. The dispenser looks neat sitting out and worked well for gift wrapping, hanging feeders and ornaments, and kids’ craft projects. Handy to keep in the shed.
