Solution integrator Insight Technology Solutions AB has been awarded a new framework agreement with the City of Stockholm for the supply of software and cloud services. The agreement runs for up to five years and is estimated to be worth approximately 1.3 billion SEK.
Stockholm City is one of Sweden’s largest employers with around 40,000 employees, in addition to elected officials in the municipal council and district boards. The agreement also covers municipal education services, which serve roughly 140,000 students.
The city’s operations span many different areas with diverse IT needs, from preschools and elderly care to cultural services and infrastructure.
The procurement emphasized the importance of the supplier’s capacity and expertise, particularly the ability to provide continuous advisory services and market intelligence. This support is intended to help the city make well-founded decisions in a rapidly changing technological environment.
