Roaring continues its growth journey and strengthens its leadership with a major hire – Fatemeh Mahmoudi Molin has been appointed Head of Growth.
With experience from global companies such as Google, Volvo Cars, HBO Nordic, SAS and Comviq, she will build an in-house growth team focused on profitable expansion, sustainable scaling and data-driven development.
Over the past three years, Roaring has tripled its revenue, expanded its team by more than 130% and established itself as a leading player in data-driven risk management. The company has been named one of Sweden’s most promising SaaS companies by Breakit Rising Stars 2024 and 2025, and was recognized as the fastest-growing SaaS company in the Nordics by Main Software 50 Nordics.
Roaring is now entering a phase where structure, data and culture must align for the next stage of expansion. To support that shift, the company is investing in an internal growth team that brings together business strategy, marketing, product development and analytics under one roof.
“Fatemeh combines growth strategy with a deep understanding of product and data — she knows how to scale with both speed and care. That is precisely the leadership we need as we strengthen our position as the natural partner for organizations that want to work in a data-driven way with risk management and improve efforts against economic crime,” says Johan Jensen, CEO of Roaring.
Strong background in tech, telecom and streaming
Fatemeh brings more than 15 years of experience leading growth journeys in complex international organizations. At Google she was responsible for growth strategies across Northern Europe. At HBO Nordic she helped reduce churn from 30% to 8%, and at Comviq she played a key role in the transition from prepaid to subscription models — a change that doubled the customer base.
At SAS she drove the development of digital ancillary services and launched initiatives such as SAS Upgrades and SAS Go Light, creating new revenue streams and strengthening customer loyalty. At Volvo Cars she contributed to the strategic shift from traditional car sales to the subscription service Care by Volvo, which rolled out to five additional countries.
Most recently, Fatemeh came from Mentimeter, where she worked on product-led global growth (PLG) during the company’s scale-up phase. In each role she has led cross-functional teams and built cultures where innovation, data and customer insight work together to deliver sustainable profitability.
“I have always been drawn to companies in motion, where you can drive real change. Roaring is in an exciting phase with a clear product, a sharp purpose and a rapidly growing market. We are ahead of the curve in what is possible within regulatory technology,” says Fatemeh Mahmoudi Molin, Head of Growth at Roaring.
Data-driven growth with social impact
Roaring combines data and technology with public benefit, helping banks, public sector organizations and companies prevent economic crime and manage business risks through comprehensive analyses of risk, transaction patterns and historical relationships. Through its APIs and platform services, the company makes it easier for customers to work proactively with compliance, onboarding and risk assessment — areas that are expanding rapidly as regulatory demands increase.
“I find it inspiring that Roaring contributes to something as important as protecting society and public resources. There is a strong set of values here, along with deep technical expertise. When you see how quickly you can detect risk patterns and prevent crime with the right data, you realize the difference it can make,” Fatemeh Mahmoudi Molin continues.
In her new role she will lead a cross-functional growth team of five people responsible for the entire growth chain — from demand and positioning to the customer journey, product marketing and loyalty. The team will act as an internal accelerator for Roaring’s expansion across the Nordics and Europe.
“Growth is not about shouting the loudest; it’s about creating value. We will understand the whole customer journey, drive growth with data and creativity, and also have fun, celebrate successes and grow together. I immediately felt a strong energy at Roaring — humble, curious and ambitious. Companies grow most when people feel well, take ownership and dare to share their ideas,” she concludes.
