Dynatrace’s New App Simplifies Compliance with DORA Rules

Dynatrace has expanded its compliance capabilities to include support for the new EU regulation, the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). At the same time, the company has launched a new app, Compliance Assistant, purpose-built to give organizations full visibility and fresh insights — and to reduce risk and the number of time-consuming configuration checks required to meet DORA requirements through automation.

Automation and AI at the Center of Compliance

Organizations face a wave of new regulations and rapidly evolving technologies such as generative AI, and many are working hard to upgrade, staff, and operate their compliance functions. DORA is a major regulation that fundamentally affects every company doing business in the EU. With Dynatrace, organizations can meet requirements such as efficient event correlation and threat detection. Automation driven by Dynatrace and its Davis AI can make a real difference in how companies manage those obligations, says Rob Strechay, Managing Director and analyst at theCUBE Research.

Dynatrace helps teams prevent potential operational problems so they can continue delivering digital services while identifying technical gaps that could impact compliance.

Meeting compliance requirements while minimizing manual work will be critical going forward. Success requires visibility into business processes from backend systems to end-user experience. Dynatrace provides customers — including some of the world’s largest organizations in heavily regulated industries — with AI-driven observability and security solutions. These tools deliver insights and automation to manage compliance at scale, says Steve Tack, Chief Product Officer at Dynatrace.

Using AI-powered security and compliance capabilities, Dynatrace enables companies to:

  • Understand complex IT environments: Dynatrace delivers automated, end-to-end visibility across the IT landscape, builds a real-time map of all components, spots unmonitored assets, and automates time-consuming configuration checks. The new Compliance Assistant app presents this information in a tailored view designed specifically to support DORA compliance.
  • Prevent and prioritize performance and security incidents: Dynatrace detects exposures and abnormal system behavior across monitored applications. Davis AI identifies root causes and automatically prioritizes them based on business impact.
  • Automate manual tasks: Beyond identifying potential vulnerabilities and threats, Dynatrace can automatically execute remediation actions and generate reports. This helps teams automate as much as 80 percent of their manual compliance-related work.

Dynatrace’s compliance features and DORA insights are available to all customers. The new Compliance Assistant app is currently available to a subset of customers and will be rolled out to all customers within 90 days.
