Cedar Raised Garden Bed with Legs — 48 x 24 x 30 Outdoor Planter
Product description
Designed to lift your gardening off the ground, this raised bed measures 48 x 24 x 30 inches overall, with an interior planting area sized to accommodate multiple vegetables and herb groupings. The 30-inch leg height reduces bending and makes planting and harvesting easier on the back.
Constructed from solid cedar, the planter benefits from the wood’s natural resistance to insects and rot. The timber presents a warm, attractive finish that can be painted or stained to match outdoor décor. The bed is dimensioned so soil sits above ground level, helping to protect the wood from constant soil contact and prolong its life.
Built to hold up to 200 pounds of soil, plant material, and water, the box is assembled from pre-cut panels that slot and screw together. The kit includes every piece of hardware needed—screws and fittings—so no measuring, cutting, or drilling is required. Parts align for straightforward assembly and a secure final fit.
Assembly is intended to be an accessible DIY task: components line up and fasten quickly with the provided instructions. Once constructed, the planter’s height and open top make planting, watering, and harvesting convenient without heavy bending.
Besides ease of use, the raised configuration helps reduce weeds and can make it harder for some small animals to reach the plants. Its compact footprint fits patios, balconies, or small garden plots and works well for tomatoes, lettuces, herbs, and similar crops.
Each unit arrives as a complete kit with pre-cut cedar pieces, hardware, and illustrated directions so gardeners can assemble without special tools or carpentry work. The design favors durability and user-friendly construction for a satisfying outdoor project.

Simple and sturdy so far
Solid construction and straightforward assembly. I’ll have a better verdict after a season, but initial impressions are good.

Good design but know the wood limits
Well engineered and simple to assemble. Cedar looks and smells great but is softer than some hardwoods. If fully filled with dense, wet soil the weight can exceed ratings, so consider drainage or lighter mixes.

Easy for a senior gardener
At 70 I assembled two without strain. Directions were clear; I drilled pilot holes for the screws which made fastening easier. Clean, tidy look in the yard.
