Four years after its founding, BizLab takes an important step in its development by becoming certified to the international standards ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management). The certification confirms that the company has, from day one, built operations where quality and sustainability are integrated into every process.
“For us, this is more than a certificate. The ISO certifications are part of our promise to customers and partners — that we build solutions with quality, responsibility and long-term thinking at the core,” says Magnus Hansson, CEO and founder of BizLab.
Internationally recognized standards
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 are used worldwide to ensure that organizations work systematically with quality and environmental management.
- ISO 9001 helps BizLab continuously improve its processes and meet customer expectations.
- ISO 14001 demonstrates that the company actively manages its environmental impact — from energy use to waste handling.
Sustainability and quality as a competitive advantage
The certifications strengthen BizLab’s position as a reliable, forward-looking technology partner within physical retail, including retail media and visitor detection, as well as in public environments. They also demonstrate that young companies can build sustainably from the start and meet the highest international standards.
“Because we are extremely data-driven, the credibility of what we do becomes decisive when meeting our customers,” says Magnus Hansson.
“We founded BizLab with the ambition to do things right from the beginning. Becoming certified to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is proof that we have succeeded in turning our values into practice,” says Annika Henriksson, CFO and lead for the certification work.
