Most recently, Ann served at Trivium Packaging, where she led the company’s global communications for five years. She now looks forward to taking on her new role at Nexer.

“There were several factors that attracted me to Nexer. First, I am driven by the opportunity to work in organizations operating in times of rapid social and technological change, where communications can play an active and value-creating role. Second, I see enormous potential in Nexer’s offerings, both for clients and for society at large. And finally, there is strong momentum in the organization and a vision, Promising Future, which I find both bold and inspiring,” says Ann Halvorsen.

As CCO, Ann will concentrate on further developing Nexer’s communications and marketing strategy, with the goal of clearly showcasing the breadth of the company’s skills and offerings. She stresses the importance of making it easier for clients to decide and of creating relevance at a time when technology and society are changing rapidly.

“Choosing Nexer should be simple for customers. For me, communication succeeds when people feel ‘now I know what to do’. It’s about listening, simplifying and making the complex more understandable,” continues Ann Halvorsen.

“We are very pleased to welcome Ann to Nexer,” says Lars Kry, CEO of Nexer Group. “Her international experience and passion for clear, engaging communication make her a valuable addition to our leadership team. Ann’s appointment comes at a time when many organizations are rethinking how they communicate value to customers and society amid accelerating technological advances. With her background spanning multiple countries and industries, she is expected to bring a pragmatic, strategic approach to Nexer’s external and internal communications, focusing on clarity, relevance and measurable impact.

In her new role, Ann will oversee initiatives to strengthen Nexer’s market positioning, support business growth through targeted messaging, and enhance stakeholder engagement across channels. Her priorities will include simplifying complex service offerings, aligning marketing and communications with business objectives, and ensuring consistent brand expression across markets.

Nexer Group highlights that this leadership change aligns with the company’s ambitions to scale and to make its expertise more accessible to customers facing digital transformation. The company expects Ann’s appointment to accelerate efforts to communicate Nexer’s capabilities in a way that helps clients quickly understand how to act and why Nexer is the right partner for their transformation journeys.
