AJOYIB 257×257mm Magnetic Cool Build Plate for Bambu Lab 3D Printers
Product description
Low-temperature printing capability — This cool build plate is designed to hold parts firmly without a heated bed in many cases. Typical recommended ranges are PLA at about 25–45°C and PETG at roughly 40–60°C, with an absolute maximum of 65°C. Because it grips well at these temperatures you can often skip glue sticks, hairspray or tape, cutting warm-up time and energy use.
High-adhesion surface for reliable first layers — A specialized resin-like coating adheres PLA and PETG from the first layer, resisting corner lift and warping on larger flat prints. That improved bed contact reduces print failures and makes it suitable for newcomers and experienced users alike.
Compatibility and use notes — Sized 257 × 257 mm to match Bambu Lab build areas, this plate was made for Bambu Lab X2D, P2S, P1S, X1 series (including X1C and X1E), P1P and similar machines. On some models (for example X1C series, P2S or X2D) you may need to turn off platform-detection in your slicer or acknowledge the accessory on the printer to avoid warnings.
Double-sided spring steel construction — The sheet is flexible spring steel with a coated surface on both faces so you can flip it to extend usable life. The material is bendable enough to flex parts off by hand and sturdy enough to resist wear across multiple cycles.
Removal and care — Let the plate cool to room temperature (typically 5–15 minutes) then gently flex the sheet to pop completed prints off — no scraper required. Clean with plain water and a soft cloth; avoid isopropyl alcohol or other solvents as they can damage the coated surface.
Pros
- Strong first-layer adhesion at low temperatures
- Double-sided spring steel extends service life
- Easy pop-off removal without scrapers
Cons
- Some PETG/fast prints may need higher bed temps
- May require disabling platform detection on some models
- Surface can be damaged by alcohol-based cleaners
VerdictA practical upgrade for Bambu Lab users who want a smooth, high-grip surface that works at low bed temperatures. Durable, reversible spring steel construction and simple maintenance make it a strong choice for PLA and many PETG prints, though some PETG or fast prints may need warmer settings.

Incredible stickiness
Huge value — everything I print clings to this plate extremely well.

Solid spare for my X2D
Fits my X2D perfectly and still holds prints after many washes with soap and warm water. Adhesion remains excellent. One annoyance: the printer may flag the accessory, so you either attach a recognition tag or dismiss the warning each time.

Decent but adhesion could be better
Looks sturdy and durable, but I found the grip lacking for some prints — I still use glue for trouble spots.

Smooth surface, prints pop off easily
The coating gives great first-layer grip for PLA and PETG and the magnets hold the plate firmly. Both sides are usable so it lasts longer and the spring steel flexes to release parts without scratching. Avoid alcohol cleaners and keep under 65°C for best results.

Works on my A1, minor flatness issue
I’ve run PLA and PETG with good results and parts come off cleanly. Out of the package it was slightly bowed, but the magnets pull it flat on the bed so it hasn’t affected prints.

My go-to smooth plate now
Adhesion is as good or better than the stock textured sheet and the smooth finish made glued seams nearly invisible. Fits my H2D and the steel flexes nicely to release parts. I also prefer its less reflective color compared with the gold textured plate.

Great for PLA, PETG needs warmer temps; packaging poor
Intricate PLA parts adhered well at ~35°C. Smaller PETG pieces required up to 65°C, though larger PETG worked at lower temps. Surface feels between CryoGrip and SuperTack. Concerned it arrived with only a plastic sleeve — no protective backing.

Fits well and gives cleaner undersides
Drop-in compatible with the original dimensions and a finer underside finish than textured PEI. PLA stuck without adhesives and released cleanly once cooled. For some high-speed PLA prints I switched to a stronger cool-plate profile to prevent small parts from lifting.
