Product description

This GEN-Y weight distribution shank is manufactured to fit 2" GEN-Y receivers and is rated for a maximum towing capacity of 16,000 lb with a tongue weight limit of 1,700 lb. Each unit ships with a 5/8" hitch pin included for securing the shank in the receiver.

Built from heavy-gauge, heat-treated steel with a durable corrosion-resistant finish, the shank is intended to accept spring bars and other components used in most weight distribution setups. It is designed to plug into the receiver, be pinned in place with the supplied 5/8" pin, and work alongside your chosen weight distribution system to help control trailer sway and improve hitch load distribution.
