Abnormal AI Fortifies Leadership for Next Phase of AI Security

Abnormal AI announces three senior executives joining the company’s leadership team in a strategic move to further advance its behavior-based AI security platform.

The new hires are Stephen Harrison as VP Product, New Products; Noah Rolff as VP Customer Success; and John Slavitt as Chief Legal Officer.

These recruitments come at a critical time for the company. Over the past six months, Abnormal has observed a 97 percent increase in sophisticated attacks that bypass traditional email security solutions. This trend is driven by a new generation of AI-generated threats that mimic trusted communications so convincingly that they evade conventional defenses.

As cyberthreats grow increasingly sophisticated, demand for Abnormal’s behavior-based AI platform is rising. Organizations are looking for solutions that protect both employees and data without adding operational complexity. To meet this demand, the company is investing in its leadership team.

Stephen Harrison joins as VP Product, New Products. He most recently served as CISO at MGM Resorts International, where he led security strategy for a global organization operating in one of the world’s most targeted threat environments. At Abnormal, he will lead the next phase of platform innovation and expand the company’s core behavior-based AI capabilities to protect against a wider range of threats across the enterprise.

His goal is to provide customers with a unified security platform that scales with their needs, eliminating the requirement to assemble multiple separate point solutions.

Noah Rolff joins as VP Customer Success. He previously led customer success and services for Cortex at Palo Alto Networks, the fastest-growing product in that company’s history. He has also held key roles at Medallia and played a central role in scaling Expanse through its acquisition at $800 million.

At Abnormal, Rolff will focus on helping customers realize business value faster and ensuring that organizations expanding their use of the Abnormal Platform receive the expert guidance and support needed to deliver measurable security outcomes.

John Slavitt joins as Chief Legal Officer. He spent more than two decades as General Counsel at Check Point Software, where he built the legal infrastructure for a publicly traded cybersecurity company valued at over $2 billion. Most recently, he served as CLO at Gong, where he established the company’s AI compliance framework during a period of rapid growth.

His expertise at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI governance, and corporate growth will strengthen the trust, transparency, and compliance frameworks customers require when deploying Abnormal’s behavior-based AI in mission-critical systems.

“To become the defining company in our industry, every decision must help us move faster than the market,” says Evan Reiser, CEO of Abnormal AI.

“That speed comes from having the right leaders in place—people who can accelerate product innovation, reduce friction as we scale, and help our customers realize greater value faster and with more confidence. Stephen, Noah, and John each bring exactly that.”
