TCS and AMD scale enterprise AI through a strategic collaboration with processor maker AMD to help organizations move from AI pilots to full production. Tata Consultancy Services has partnered with AMD to modernize existing IT environments and build secure, high-performance digital workplaces.
Under the collaboration, TCS and AMD will jointly develop industry-specific AI and generative AI solutions. They will combine TCS’s deep industry expertise and system-integration capabilities with AMD’s leading portfolio of compute and AI products. Together they will help organizations modernize hybrid cloud and edge environments, deploy AI-driven workplace solutions and accelerate innovation. TCS will also rapidly upskill and certify its workforce on AMD’s hardware and software technologies.
The two companies plan to invest jointly in talent to build a deep pool of experts who can collaborate on and deliver the next generation of AI solutions. Industry frameworks for generative AI will be tailored for sectors such as life sciences, focusing on drug development, manufacturing with cognitive quality assurance and smart production, and banking, financial services and insurance with intelligent risk management. The partnership will also deliver customized accelerators, frameworks and best practices to boost AI performance and help organizations fully realize AI’s business value.
“Our collaboration with AMD is a vital step to scale AI for enterprises. By combining TCS’s deep industry knowledge with AMD’s high-performance compute capabilities, we enable organizations to move from experimenting with AI to deploying it at scale in production,” said K Krithivasan, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Consultancy Services. “Together, we will build industry-specific generative AI solutions, modernize hybrid cloud and edge environments, and shape the next generation of intelligent workplaces.”

“AI adoption is accelerating, and unlocking its full potential requires a new level of high-performance compute and close industry collaboration,” said Lisa Su, Chair and CEO of AMD. “Through our work with TCS we will help customers turn AI innovation into fresh growth opportunities across industries.”

TCS will work closely with AMD to integrate client solutions based on Ryzen processors to modernize the workplace. AMD EPYC processors, AMD Instinct GPUs and AI accelerators will be used to upgrade hybrid cloud and high-performance compute environments. AMD’s embedded systems portfolio will also support customer innovation in edge computing, inference and industrial digitalization.
This strategic partnership aims to help enterprises scale AI from pilot phases to full production across modern IT landscapes. The focus areas include enterprise AI, generative AI, hybrid cloud, edge computing and high-performance digital workplaces for global organizations.
