Arrow Electronics Expands Broadcom Distribution Agreement

Arrow Electronics has strengthened its distribution agreement with Broadcom through Broadcom’s Accelerate Program, adding a range of new solutions to Arrow’s line card and introducing enhanced support options, local expertise and value-added services. This strategic move expands the companies’ collaboration and reinforces their shared commitment to driving innovation and success within the Broadcom ecosystem.

The updated agreement includes an expanded set of Broadcom’s enterprise and mainframe software (including offerings from the former CA Technologies portfolio), as well as Carbon Black, where Arrow will act as Broadcom’s regional go-to-market specialist. Arrow will now support the majority of Broadcom’s software solutions, receiving distribution rights for an increased segment of Broadcom accounts across Europe, with the exception of a limited number of selected accounts.

Under the new terms, Arrow is responsible for defining sales strategy and executing market initiatives across Europe for Broadcom’s enterprise, cybersecurity and mainframe software. This remit covers a selected set of existing customers and new opportunities in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Value‑add resellers, system integrators and service providers throughout Europe can now access Broadcom’s broad portfolio of industry‑leading enterprise software for selected mid-market and small business customers via Arrow. The portfolio includes solutions for automation, ValueOps, NetOps, API security, identity and access management, AIOps and observability, application development and IT service management, mainframe offerings, as well as Symantec and Carbon Black cybersecurity solutions.

Arrow’s channel partners and customers can leverage these enterprise, cybersecurity and mainframe software solutions to accelerate successful digital transformation initiatives. Broadcom’s Accelerate Program enables Arrow to operate as an extension of the Broadcom team, helping customers extract maximum value from their Broadcom software investments. This support includes technical assistance and enhanced customer experience through availability, specialized expertise, hands‑on assistance, training programs and other value‑added services.

Cedric Doignie, vice president of sales, global new models and services within Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business, said: “Over the past three years our EMEA teams have achieved strong results with the Symantec portfolio, working closely with the channel to engage and support small and medium‑sized businesses. Broadcom’s software solutions set the standard for digital transformation initiatives, and adding these solutions gives our partners a more complete and compelling software portfolio to expand their offerings and grow their businesses.”

“Our goal is to deliver first‑class experiences for customers of all sizes, and we continue to do that with our partners through innovative models like the Broadcom Accelerate Program,” said Cynthia Loyd, vice president of global commercial & partner sales at Broadcom. “Distributor partners like Arrow will extend our reach with local expertise and deep knowledge of Broadcom solutions. This program will help ensure we deliver superior service and support at every stage of the customer journey.”

The agreement is part of a broader collaboration between Broadcom and Arrow that also includes a global Accelerate agreement for VMware CloudHealth.
