Legora announced today that Zeynep Inanoglu Ozdemir has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer. She will lead Legora’s global marketing organization as the company accelerates its expansion in the United States, strengthens its brand, and solidifies its position as a leading platform for agentic AI in the legal sector.
Zeynep joins Legora from Atlassian, where she served as CMO and led a global marketing organization of more than 450 people spanning brand, product marketing, demand generation, communications, performance marketing, and events. Prior to that, she held the CMO role at Palo Alto Networks, contributing to the company’s rapid growth across multiple cybersecurity areas during a period when its market value increased fivefold. She also holds a PhD in machine learning from the University of Cambridge.
“Zeynep has accomplished what very few marketing leaders achieve. She has built high-performing marketing teams for large organizations, driven product-led growth with direct revenue responsibility, and operated at scale while preserving the entrepreneurial spirit that makes marketing effective,” said Max Junestrand, CEO and co-founder of Legora. “She will play a pivotal role in our global expansion and in advancing our brand journey.”
With more than 100,000 users and over 1,200 customers across more than 50 countries, Legora is transitioning from a fast-growing challenger to an established global player. Zeynep joins the executive team at a critical moment to support continued international growth, strengthen relationships with leading law firms and legal teams worldwide, and build on the strong brand that Legora has already created.
“The legal profession is one of the world’s most exacting and precision-driven fields, and agentic AI has the potential to fundamentally change how legal work is performed,” said Zeynep Inanoglu Ozdemir. Legora has built a solid foundation with a product and team that deeply understand how lawyers work. I look forward to contributing to the next phase of growth and helping build a category-defining company that will shape the future of legal practice.”
Zeynep is based in San Francisco, where she will also support Legora’s growing presence in the U.S.
