Sigma Technology Signs Framework Agreement with Sida for IT Infrastructure & Cloud Services

Sigma Technology IT Group has been selected as one of the consulting firms awarded a new framework agreement with Sida, Sweden’s international development agency, for IT infrastructure and cloud services. The agreement takes effect in January 2025 and runs for two years with the option to extend for a total of up to four years.

Sida is Sweden’s agency for international development cooperation, working to reduce poverty and oppression worldwide. The agency’s IT department is responsible for delivering secure, cost-effective, and fit-for-purpose IT support that helps Sida meet its operational goals.

Sigma Technology IT Group – A trusted partner in IT and cloud services

The procurement covers IT consultancy services across the IT area, including resource-based and project/assignment consultants. After a thorough tender process, Sigma Technology IT Group was chosen as one of three suppliers within the IT infrastructure and cloud services category.

“We are very proud to be one of Sida’s selected suppliers and to support their digital ambitions that help advance the organisation’s objectives. We are ready to assist Sida with our extensive experience managing diverse IT and cloud environments and platforms, our delivery flexibility, and strong focus on security,” says Anna Nyblin, Bid Manager at Sigma Technology IT Group.

Sigma Technology brings a strong team of cloud technology experts and maintains active partnerships with both Microsoft and AWS. In December 2024, Sigma Technology was named AWS Nordic’s “Rising Star Consulting Partner of the Year 2024,” an award recognising key partners that help customers drive innovation and build solutions on AWS.

With this framework agreement, Sigma Technology continues to expand its presence in the Swedish public sector. The company has previously secured framework agreements with Region Jönköpings Län, CSN, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service (Statens institutionsstyrelse), and the Norwegian Veterinary Institute.

“Being chosen as one of Sida’s suppliers is an important milestone for us and aligns with our strategy to become a trusted IT advisor to the public sector. We support government organisations in executing digital and sustainable initiatives with our expertise, delivery capacity, and operational capabilities,” says Johan Edlund, CEO of Sigma Technology IT Group.
