Kåre Nordström Appointed Sweden Country Head at Orange Cyberdefense

Orange Cyberdefense today announces that Kåre Nordström has been appointed Country Manager for Sweden. Kåre previously served as Regional Manager for Northern Sweden at Orange Cyberdefense. He succeeds Leif Gyllenberg, who in March 2022 was appointed CEO for the Nordics at Orange Cyberdefense. Kåre Nordström will continue to drive Orange Cyberdefense’s growth in Sweden, while also expanding the company’s expertise and offerings across both technical solutions and strategic security advisory services.

The Power of Connectivity

“I am very excited to take responsibility for the Swedish operation, where we have doubled our headcount over the past two years, and to help maintain that growth with a high level of expertise,” says Kåre Nordström, Managing Director, Orange Cyberdefense Sweden. “I joined Orange Cyberdefense because I wanted to work for a company with clear values, strong team spirit and high-performing teams—qualities I look forward to strengthening and developing further.”

“I hand over the responsibility for the Swedish operation to Kåre with great pleasure and expectation,” says Leif Gyllenberg, CEO for the Nordics at Orange Cyberdefense. “Kåre has played a key role in establishing our nationwide presence so we can professionally support organizations close to where they operate. With the rapidly evolving threat landscape, increasing demand for digital services, and a significant skills shortage in cybersecurity, it is more important than ever that we support organizations in ways that contribute to a safer digital society.”

Kåre Nordström assumed the role on January 1 of this year. Orange Cyberdefense currently employs 400 people in Sweden.
