IFS Cadillac Formula 1: IFS Named Technical Partner to Cadillac

IFS Cadillac Formula 1 marks a strategic partnership in which IFS becomes the official technology partner to the Cadillac Formula 1 Team as the team prepares to debut in the 2026 Formula 1 season. Under this agreement, IFS will provide the mission-critical software platform that supports several of the team’s most important operational processes in one of the world’s most demanding sports.

The IFS platform is already used to manage finance, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing and inventory. The objective is to give the Cadillac Formula 1 team a comprehensive view of complex workflows, streamline processes and enable faster decision-making—where every millisecond can affect competitiveness.

“Formula 1 demands extreme precision, speed and control,” says Tyler Epp, global head of commercial strategy for the Cadillac Formula 1 team. “With IFS, we gain better control over our most complex processes and access to real‑time data that is essential to our day‑to‑day operations, both on and off the track.”

The IFS platform was implemented before Cadillac received official approval to enter the 2026 championship, making the system a central element in building the team’s structure, working methods and technical foundation from an early stage.

“In Formula 1, milliseconds can make all the difference,” says Mattias Bolander, Head of Nordics at IFS. “It is vital that all systems around the car operate seamlessly. Our role is to deliver technology that enables rapid, well‑founded decisions in an extremely data‑driven environment. It’s also particularly exciting from a Nordic perspective that Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas is part of the driver lineup.”

The partnership also means IFS branding will appear on Cadillac’s Formula 1 cars and across the team’s official visual identity, reinforcing the link between advanced enterprise software and elite motorsport.

Enterprise systems and industrial AI in Formula 1

The collaboration between IFS and the Cadillac Formula 1 Team illustrates how modern Formula 1 teams function as high‑technology industrial enterprises. Beyond racing expertise, teams require sophisticated systems for logistics, planning, analytics and resource optimization. The IFS–Cadillac alliance is a clear example of how industrial AI and enterprise software are becoming decisive competitive advantages in elite sport.

By consolidating data from across operations into a single platform, teams can make faster decisions, improve efficiency and reduce risk. In a sport where incremental gains can decide championships, having the right data at the right time is a strategic asset.
