WatchGuard Technologies strengthens its sales leadership across EMEA with the appointment of Frédéric Saint-Joigny to drive regional growth and enhance partner collaboration.
WatchGuard Technologies, known for its unified cybersecurity solutions, has announced the recruitment of Frédéric Saint-Joigny as its new Vice President of Sales for the EMEA region. Reporting directly to Chief Revenue Officer HoJin Kim, Frédéric will define and implement a market strategy designed to help partners seize new opportunities, diversify cybersecurity offerings, and launch a new phase of growth across the region.
This strategic appointment underscores WatchGuard’s commitment to refreshing its leadership and sales organization to remain responsive to the constantly evolving demands of the cybersecurity landscape and its partner network. With a solid foundation already in place, Frédéric’s leadership is expected to harmonize regional sales efforts, strengthen partner support, and accelerate growth initiatives.
“Frédéric is the right leader at the right time,” said HoJin Kim, expressing enthusiasm about the new appointment. “His proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams, drive partner-centric growth and guide organizations through transformation makes him an ideal partner as we continue to expand our business and offer partners a broader cybersecurity portfolio.”
With more than 20 years of experience in enterprise and channel sales, particularly across the cybersecurity and networking sectors, Frédéric’s track record speaks for itself. Prior to joining WatchGuard, he led EMEA sales for Skybox Security, significantly increasing regional outbound activity and improving channel efficiency. Earlier roles at Aruba Networks, both before and after the company’s acquisition by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), saw him play a key role in scaling channel operations across EMEA.
Integrating Frédéric into WatchGuard’s robust operational structure represents a decisive step in helping partners move beyond selling individual security products toward delivering holistic, integrated cybersecurity solutions, including advanced managed services. This alignment of leadership aims to foster regional cohesion and position WatchGuard and its partners as frontrunners in capturing latent market potential and unlocking new growth ceilings.
“I’m excited to start at WatchGuard at such a pivotal moment,” Frédéric commented, emphasizing his eagerness to contribute to the company’s evolving momentum and support partners through market transitions.
As WatchGuard embarks on new horizons with a revitalized leadership core, its primary objective remains to empower partners so they can quickly adapt and thrive in an ever-changing cybersecurity market.
