Zlatan on top – a winner’s mentality at the bank
Negotiating a mortgage rate with the bank can be difficult and sometimes tense. According to a new survey by Sambla, in which 1,021 people answered which famous Swede they would most like by their side during negotiations, Zlatan Ibrahimovic tops the list. With his strong self-confidence and competitive drive, he is seen as the ideal negotiator who would never back down.
“A true competitor who, as we know, never backs down—on or off the pitch. That may be the recipe for success in negotiations as well,” says Marcus Sätherström at Sambla.
Bagge and Persbrandt close behind
In second place is Anders Bagge, one of Sweden’s most beloved personalities, known for his humility and strong charisma. Bagge is perceived by many as a trustworthy and steady negotiator. Close behind him is actor Mikael Persbrandt, whose tough, uncompromising demeanor has clearly made an impression on the public.
“Anders Bagge is one of our most liked Swedes, while the others on the list come across as strong negotiators—ranging from politicians to entrepreneurs like Bianca Ingrosso,” Sätherström explains.
Politicians and influencers on the list
Magdalena Andersson, the former prime minister known for her extensive political work, ranks fourth. She is followed by Bianca Ingrosso, a successful influencer and entrepreneur, who is placed fifth for her sharp business acumen.
Other well-known names on the list include Kjell Bergqvist, Fredrik Eklund and Greta Thunberg. Politicians such as Ebba Busch and Ulf Kristersson also appear, indicating that many Swedes trust political figures to secure favorable terms.
